curlieHAPPY ANNIVERSARY! :)
gamommaAHH!! Weddings in the 90's! I was married 2 years before you but our pics are very similar! I think my dress is a close match! Congrats and many more happy years together!
carawatsonfranklinCongratulations!! Happy Anniversary!
nthnswmngorgeous!

mjcbCongratulations! The years do fly by! We have been married 14 years too!
ashfieldsHappy ANniversary Tandie!!! You both look the same!!
dbalentineAnd happily for 12 of them.
stefferwefferWhat a beautiful gown, Tandie! I can't believe you've been married 14 years! Happy Anniversary!
pkgWow! Time flies, doesn't it? Congrats to you both!
ncreavesSo glad you went to Marietta to check out the guys and met your "one and only". Happy Anniversay and love to you.

Gold! 10-20-08 10:24pm EST
I finally took the time to sign up for gold. yeah!

Hey, if you haven't gone to see Fireproof, you MUST go see it! It is an excellent date movie. Jeff and I had a date night Friday night (thanks to Cathy!). We went to a new restaurant called Bellos and then to the movie.

Last Wednesday, Nate went around to several people after Bible study to show them his Bible. Each time, he would say "Bible!". How cute! His vocabulary is really expanding!

melissalI've heard it's a good movie. We might actually have to go see it!
mjunutI haven't heard of it. I have an ee doc appt mid day. Come see the chicks after noon. Just call.
dixiechickWhat if you don't have anyone to go on a date with?:) FYI, the campout is this weekend. E-mail me if you need more info or anything.
ashfieldsI saw it too Tandie. Pretty good, a little predictable, but clean!
loveofjebsI really want to see Fireproof. I wish I could somehow. As far as my favorite radio stations, I used to listen to Steve and Vicki on Star 94 but I guess their gone. I am also listening to kicks country.
mirrorjranchI love hearing it when little ones can finally say the word "Bible". It's so precious! I've been wanting to see that movie.
belleI'm hoping Jas and I can have a date nite soon to see it...Nate's such a cutie! I haven't heard him say it yet!
curlieYay for gold! :)
ashfieldsyes...I'll give you one guess what it's called! Yep, you got it....DR. K!
lrfs611Yes we are, my mother called last night and said they were coming down from VA to spend the weekend and go to the wedding. I am so excited for Kim. I hope you have a safe trip! Brad and I saw the movie too, it was really good! One you can recommend and not have to think twice!
mirrorjranchI have not tried "Ting" yet. I've seen it, but like the ginger drink too much right now to try much else.
djalmandI just wanted to say hey and I love the pictures too. Hope to see you soon on the Lord's day!
stefferwefferHey, Tandie! Good to hear from you! Glad to add another "friend" on my slowly growing list. Sorry you missed the wedding...it was beautiful, but it was good to see you at the shower! Nice pic of your family!
mom_of_totoHey Tandie, saw your comment on Ross' blog - Ralph Walker will be here Nov 14th and I believe they are going to discuss the booster club then. I'll let you know more when I talk with Amy
nthnswmnsounds dangerous...watch out for those lightsabers!
mustang360MTNA is Music Teacher National Association :)
belleWe saw Fireproof on Friday nite!! LOVED it!! Highly recommend it to everyone. As far as voting....this area is just insane. The early voters had worse lines than me...a lady in line next to me said her friend was in line from 9 am - 4 pm!! Craziness!! So my wait was pretty good, I guess! I don't understand why they don't account for so many people voting and prepare accordingly! This morning, there were only 9 voting booths!! NINE!! for hundreds of people! That's Fulton county for you. Everything I've done in this county has been a headache...getting my license took 5 hours, new social security card - 3 hours, they need to open more offices!! :) *end rant* Hope you have a great week! See you tomorrow!
rstathamYeah, Nate! And thanks for the movie tip....Ross
ryanandnancyHey Tandie! I was just curious, how did y'all handle vaccinations with Ian and Nathan? So far Colton has gotten all of his shots and has done fine. But anyway, just wondering how y'all handled it. Have fun tomorrow! :)
ryanandnancyYes. Mom and dad are still in Tampa at the same house and they do have it for sale. They've been looking in GA for a house. :)
megHappy Birthday, IAN!!
ryanandnancyBecky just had surgery on her hand for carple tunnel(sp?). Pat took some time off to help her and Tyler spent some time at her sister's. So they're still recovering from all of that I think. Sorry we missed y'all too! We'll be around at Christmas but I don't know if we'll be there during a service time.
stefferwefferThe job situation is pretty complex--he's trying to stick with his current compant and work through them somehow. They are willing to work with him, but have to have an opening to do it and so far not having much luck getting anything available. I'm hoping we'll get more of an understanding of how this all works when they come and visit next week.
emilylankfordSo sweet that Nate can say Bible now! Maya is doing really great. She is 15 weeks old today! I knew it would pass quickly...but it really is amazing how quickly. We had a nice Thanksgiving here & look forward to a KY and TN Christmas. God has blessed our families so much, hasn't He?!

New Pictures... 10-02-08 12:29am EST
Well, last post featured Nate's sweet self, so now I am posting pictures of my boy who is growing up entirely too fast! Ian will be six next month. He sure is enjoying his baseball games. He is looking forward to the arrival of Grandma Davidson, Jeff's mother. She will be here on Friday to stay for a week. We have plans to go to the Cumming Fair, decorate a haunted gingerbread castle, go to the park and to the pumpkin patch. Fun, fun, fun!

melissalThat's a good lookin boy!
pkgCould that possibly be Grant's old hat? It looks like it!
curlieHe is so handsome in his uniform! :)
emilylankfordSuch good pictures! Both of your boys are just as handsome as can be:)
ashfieldsI'm telling you...that boy is as handsome as they come! You all are blessed with such wonderful sweet boys!
dixiechickWhat a cutie!
mjcbAdorable!
joes_wifeCute pictures!

My doctor had me do a saliva test too. There was one thing off on that, but he is going to address it later :) Lots to take care of first :)
taxibyrdGreat Pics, the one on the top left is my fav
ncreavesIt's hard for me to believe my little sweetie is almost six. He has given us so many happy memories. He looks so cute in his baseball outfit. Love that boy!!
libsterwow, he has grown up so much!! =)
megWOw, IAN! How cool!
melissalYes- He could be in ATL a long time! He's off next week so he's coming home for vacation! We'll spend a few days in VA also.
ryanandnancyHi! Thanks for the encouraging words. I know I'm not the only mom that chooses to do this, and I definately like it better than the alternative. The kids and I are coming to GA for my high school reunion later this month. We're going to stay with Pat and Becky so hopefully we'll see you at church on Oct. 27th I think it is. Mom and Dad should be there too.
ryanandnancyCute pictures!
mjunutwow we have never done a haunted ginger bread. Sonds like fun. He is really a great kid! I hope Reed has one just like him. haha she asked for it!
mjunutyou gotta love that enthusiasm. I think it is easier to put the brakes on a child than to force one into excelleration. At least you have something to hone and guide. Ever heard the phrase pushing a string across sandpaper? (I added that sandpaper part.)
ashfieldsjust go to clearplay.com
mjunutAbsolutely!! The Hammond kids stopped by yesterday. They are poop factories. The chicks that is.
belleHaha! I'm glad she clarified that comment! ;) Ian is going to be a heartbreaker!! Such a cutie..and a great personality! Love the pics!
miss_lesterawww... how cute!
megI enjoy a few others. Newsboys is a lot rougher than SCC, but here lately I've really come to like SCC better and better.

Fall is coming!! 09-18-08 09:30pm EST
I can feel it in the morning and evening air... that coolness that says fall is coming soon! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. This one will be busy. Ian is playing baseball for the first time. He LOVES it too! He has played two games so far and has done so well hitting the coach-pitched balls. These little fellas are hilarious when it comes to playing in-field and out-field. Jeff and I used to watch t-ball games before we had kids and thought they were so cute out there digging in the dirt with their gloves, sitting in the grass picking flowers, etc. Now that we have a child playing and drawing circles in the dirt and doing splits instead of watching for the ball, it is no longer that funny! Actually he has done better than I expected.

We had a wonderful weekend in Alabama for the Dove Shoot fundraiser for Sacred Selections. I haven't heard the final amount raised, but I know it is more than last year. We had a great day among the people there and met many new friends. We also enjoyed seeing David and Dana Carrozza again. Everyone just loved seeing Nathaniel. His grant from SS was the money raised last year at the Dove Shoot. So, everyone there was so happy to see the baby they helped to adopt. He delighted everyone with his babbling conversations and constant exploring! He especially loved the tire swing in the yard. I hope those that took pictures that day will send them to me soon. I didn't get too many, but here is one from that day of him trying on some glasses he found. Ian also enjoyed the day playing football and making mudpies with the kids. The boys were adorable in their camo outfits.

The Dove Shoot was at a farm with a lot of acreage in the country. It reminded me of my days growing up on 40 acres out in the country...what a playground for a child! He loved running everywhere without having to worry about cars and such.

We stayed with some good friends in Gardendale and went to worship with them on Sunday before coming home very tired, but happy! What a wonderful reminder the weekend was of how we are so blessed to have our two boys.

ncreavesThe one on the right is cute! :) I think your boys look like ya'll. What a special family and what blessings! Tell Ian HI and we need to see him soon. Would he like us to continue the Thomas the Train magazine or would he like something else. Love to you.
curlieWhat a great weekend. He is adorable! :)
loveofjebsHE's so cute! His hair looks so red in the first photo. Is it red?
mirrorjranchThose pictures are precious! I know they are planning a fundraiser in Texas next month, but I won't get to travel to it.
joes_wifeWhat a great time you must have all had! Thanks for sharing the photos of this very special boy :)
dixiechickWhat a cutie! I am so ready for fall! If y'all can, a bunch of us from PF are having a campout at Red Top Mountain Oct. 22-25. My dad is the organizer, and I'm sure the boys would have a lot of fun.
emilylankfordI love the pictures! I'm so happy to hear that the fundraiser was a success (I believed it would be)! I'm glad you all could be there & that Nathaniel could be the "mascot". We look forward to taking Maya to the Crosby, TX fundraiser next month.
melissalI love to see chubby legs walking! I think the weather is getting close to me visitng GA. again.
ncreavesI LOVED having Ian. We had so much fun with our tea party, plydough car lot, and esp. the creek where Ian had fun "slipping"in! :) Love ya'll.
carawatsonfranklinCute pictures!! I love the fall too!
ashfieldshey tandie! Nathaniel has grown up so fast!! What a cutie! I miss seeing you all too when you visit Athens. The kids and I will be visiting the end of October into NOvember. We'll be there the first Sunday in November! Hint Hint:-) I want to see how much more handsome that little Ian is! I'm still holding out that he'll be my son n' law one day! LOL ya'll take care!!!
LizWilcoxWhat a cutie! I'm so happy for you all. What a wonderful fund raiser!
miss_lesterdid they literally shoot doves at the "dove shoot"?
pkgI don't know who is blessed more - you and Jeff or the boys!!! What a win-win situation!!
pkgWhere were you guys last night? Missed you! Hope all is okay.
ryanandnancyI miss the fall sooo much! It got a little cool here last week in the mornings and it was so nice. But there definately isn't any fall color, just mesquite trees. :( Oh well! I was wondering if you could offer any advice or literature on homeschooling. Ryan and I are considering it for Kaylee when she begins preschool next year. Thanks and I love the pictures. Nathan is so cute!
ericandkatWhat a great picture of Nathaniel with Jeff! I'm amazed he kept those glasses on.
megLittle man is so cute! I'm sorry we missed you guys when you were here, but I'm glad to see you in a couple of weeks!!!
mjcbSweet pictures! I love hearing about Ian's baseball adventures too! I have watched other kids for years too and wondered how I would feel about my own playing sports or doing other activities. Now I find myself crying over every little thing they do! Every pre-school performance, every board Benjamin breaks at Taekwondo. I even cried more than the mother of the bride when the kids were in a wedding!

Goin' to Papa's... and several other places! 07-30-08 10:47pm EST
We are off to my parents for a few days. I think "Papa's and Ma's" is one of Ian's favorite places on earth! And today I found out Jeff's mom is coming from Albuquerque for a visit in early October. The last time she was here was for our wedding...going on 14 years ago! Ian doesn't remember visiting her when he was 8 months old, so he is excited too. She has never seen Nate. I will also be teaching the 2nd-4th grade class at church beginning in Oct. So, I am preparing for that.

In August, we are going to my brother's wedding in NC and then off to a Fundraiser for Sacred Selections (who awarded us a grant to help adopt Nate) in Alabama in September. They are excited that Nathaniel will be there for everyone to meet. Busy, busy, busy for the next couple of months! I look forward to seeing David and Dana Carrozza again!

Did I mention that Nate is finally walking? YEAH!! I love this age!

mjunutYes, and here is the thing... less work and more fun WITH the kids!!
samngloriaI'm sorry, what is your name!! I'm SO sorry! :)
belleThanks, Tandie! So far they're doing ok, but some are struggling with all this heat...AND I can only water 3 days a week. But, hopefully they'll all survive! :)
ryanandnancyHey, I heard about a fundraiser for SS, I think, while we were in TX. They were going to have a softball tounament. Want to come to that one too? :)
mjunutIt is cozy. G even said that I can print remotely. That amazes me. We don't even know yet if our printers are toast or not. We picked up the other computer today and he is plugging it up.
We stopped at a YS today and I bought a canon picture printer for 15$. It prints boarderlessly. heehee
mjunutWhen is the wedding?
mountain_view_chikits at north!
kcwilsfordHi Tandie! I did see you at worship, but didn't have a chance to say hi. I saw your family's picture in one of the FC magazines and saw Ian w/out all his curls! He does look different! So big! what a cutie! Come back and visit us again soon!
mjunutHey... would it be possible for me to borrow your camera with the super zoom lens tues and return it wed. I don't mind driving to and from your house. Reed's first volley is tues eve. I am eeking with excitement. Inie will have to come see a home game. We have 4 in sept at home. Oh... perhaps the one at north!
belleTandie, I found some info on it...there's a group called SS_Fundraiser -- let me know if you get in touch with your friend. If not, I'll just mail them! :)
tramelliteWow...what fun things coming up!! Sooo fun to see Nate toddling around at the building!! :)
bikeaholicyeah, i draw the line at crossing more than 1 state line on my commute. makes for a long ride home =)
mom_of_totoLemme tell ya, it will be here in the blink of an eye! I dont even want to think of her goin off to college!! The school is Chalk 2 Champions. It is their first year in business. Very impressive and she loves it! Its on Hwy 9 here in town - think it is 8-12th grade. Certified teachers and they keep up with all records - ahhhhhhhhh!!!
samngloriaThat is fine. Thank you SO much for all your help!
tramellitehaha! Yes, they are *horrible*! For months, I thought they were cleaning my kitchen flooring, until one day we had our carpets cleaned and the cleaner ran over the linoleum...turns out they were FILTHY!! I have done hands and knees cleaning ever since! :) However, I can give them credit for entertaining commercials! :)
ticketshi i'm laura simpson. i just wanted to say hey since i think you all were the ones that were trying to help me when i was stuck in the atlanta airport one night. i'm friends of them. :o)
pkgHappy Belated Birthdy!!! So sorry I missed it but I did think of it on the day!
mjunutI totally forgot what I came over here to say... Oh yeah... you commented that Ian not born yet... Wow, that does put it in perspective. When was your bday. i will look it up. How fast is your shutter speed? I played with my settings and finally found one that took better pics of the volleyball game but my shutter is just not fast enough even for JV!
mjunutI would love to use it and perhaps you and Inie can come to a game and you could snap a few. I like to take pics at all of the games to try to capture the best shots. One of us can hold the babe. ha
mjunutI may or may not be in town so G may or may not take the pic for us. How do you like that? We will do our best but if it get's left forgive!
taxibyrdSee ya Thurday night about 7 unless I see ya Wednesday night first hee hee
dixiechickI didn't think it went that well. Everyone else said I did a good job. My unit I have to prepare is Ancient Egypt, and I gave an introduction to Ancient Egypt.
