Well there are several things I want to say.
I can't believe we are already having Thanksgiving and yet Christmas is just right around the corner.
I can't believe I have almost completed my first semester of upper level classes. It wasn't as hard as I expected but very time consuming. They give you more busy work than I had ever dreamed. I have had to write more papers in my life this semester then I have in my wildest dreams. This Thanksgiving I will be spending most of my time writing a 10-12 page paper on Banality of evil for my Holocaust class as well as 5 other one page papers. I have learned so much from this class and am glad that I took it. This brings me to my next point.
Our class is going to the Holocaust Museum in downtown Houston for free. We will get a private guided tour with a Holocaust survivor. If anyone is interested in going please feel free to come. The time is at 7 p.m. Monday (Dec. 1). Just make sure to be there a little before 7.
Ok.... next thing. Over the weekend I spent time at A&M and did something that I haven't done since I was a sophomore in high school. What is it you ask???? Well....I dyed my hair. I went from a strawberry blond to a light golden brown.
Side note:
I have decided to give up dating for a little while. I'm just so tired of always wondering if someone is going to come along and if he is worth my time and interest. Now granted if someone really special comes along and just sweeps me off my feet, well then I can't help that. But I'm not going to continue to actively search for someone. I will let God take over and when he sees fit, I know he will bring me someone that I can love, honor, and adore. Until then, I will spend my time finishing up school, hanging out with really good / best friends, and looking at getting a job closer to home. As well as trying to serve Him better.
Thanks for listening to me. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mom is going to teach me how to cook a turkey this year (in addition to my papers). So it will be just the three of us at home this year.
