I think now is a good time to be praying. Pray like it's up to him, work like it's up to us. Here are some things on my heart that you can help me pray for:
- Tyler struggling with peer pressure in Mississippi
- Becoming a good boss (for myself) and not wanting to play all the time.
- Juggling all these video/website projects. (time management)
- The state of the union, the next president. not worried.. just concerned.
If you could pray for me for those things, there is an amazing power that can be found in prayer, if we believe He can do it.
So, the old (well, not that old) version of wildfire had some kinks in it, and I wanted to iron them out. call me a perfectionist, but I want people to be "WOW"ed when they come to browse or buy a DVD. The baby is growing and I need to help her grow. I want to put our best foot forward with this design, and knock the socks off other sites! I'm a wayz off from doing that... but I can sure dream big, can't I? haha. The Top banner I've decided will be a placeholder for a future Flash banner. Basically, the site will have a short video intro within the banner. here it is, and let me know what you think! The customer is (99.8%) always right!
I don't know much about the artistic side of websites, but are you asking for critiques of the text as well? I noticed several typos/spelling errors:
I think you want "The Standrad is Excelence" to read, "The Standard is Excellence."
"Relive the moments of your son or daughters special day" should be "Relive the moments of your son or daughter's special day."
And, I'm not positive about this one, but I'm pretty sure that "DVD's" should be "DVDs." It looks better the way you have it, but it's not possessive, it's plural, so I don't think you need the apostrophe.
Sorry if these were too picky or not what you were looking for. I've been doing this a lot with the church website my husband has been making, and I am a very picky (snobby!) customer when it comes to spelling on a company website. :-)
A friend/coworker of mine is a photographer & is doing a wedding this weekend. The Bride called & asked if she can also do video. Kelly doesn't do video and doesn't know anyone who does. I gave her your name, website & email address from the site. She may be calling you tonight to see if you're available this weekend to video the wedding.
Every bursted bubble has a glory!
Each abysmal failure makes a point!
Every glowing path that goes astray,
Shows you how to find a better way.
So every time you stumble never grumble.
Next time you'll bumble even less!
For up from the ashes, up from the ashes, grow the roses of success!
Grow the roses!
Grow the roses!
Grow the roses of success!
Oh yes!
Grow the roses!
Those rosy roses!
From the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success!
(spoken)Yes I know but he wants it to float. It will!
For every big mistake you make be grateful!
Here, here!
That mistake you'll never make again!
No sir!
Every shiny dream that fades and dies,
Generates the steam for two more tries!
(Oh) There's magic in the wake of a fiasco!
Correct!
It gives you that chance to second guess!
Oh yes!
Then up from the ashes, up from the ashes grow the roses of success!
Grow the roses!
Grow the roses!
Grow the roses of success!
Grow the roses!
Those rosy roses!
From the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success!
Disaster didn't stymie Louis Pasteur!
No sir!
Edison took years to see the light!
Right!
Alexander Graham knew failure well; he took a lot of knocks to ring that
bell!
So when it gets distressing it's a blessing!
Onward and upward you must press!
Yes, Yes!
Till up from the ashes, up from the ashes grow the roses of success.
They are both my parents' dogs, but we take care of winston in our room (like a baby!) he wakes us up to go to the bathroom, and we cuddle him like he's our own. Roni isn't exactly related, but they are both Shiba Inu.
