Today was one of the rare occasions when Josh and I both had off of work all day! So we decided we would try going to a place in Colorado Springs called The Garden of the gods. Its a park type of place with all kinds of rock formations. Kind of like going to The Badlands in South Dakota except there arnt as many places to climb around on these rocks. (Pictures Below)

After that we went to Chilis for lunch. Thanks!

Then we decided to stop by target and walk around a bit. They had some crazy awesome clearance racks so we got just a couple of things. I got a new dress (I think it is the first dress I ever bought myself) for $12.50! Awesome!

And since we were in the area, we stopped at this really nice Goodwill store that someone at church told us about. Its right next to an AirForce Base so they get really good stuff.
Then we went home and downloaded the pictures which are viewable below. :)

mamap	We went to Garden of the Gods on a family vacation when I was in high school...(Yes, it was in existence back then!) I will never forget it. It really made an impression on me and I've always wanted to go back...So glad y'all had an enjoyable day off together!

Much Honey Baked Ham and sweet potatoes will be eaten.

My apartment is the cleanest its been in a very long time.

It smells good too...due to knew candles that Josh got me. :)

busyness!

So I know an update is loong overdue! We've been soo busy. Homeschool camp was awesome as always. Hope to go again next year. Still havnt uploaded my pics from the week cause Im only just now finishing getting caught up on laundry and cleaning and whatnot.

All that plus trying to keep up with our awesome friends at Smoky Hill. Its so great to be able to go out and do things with people that you know arent going to be a bad immpression on you. Last week we went ice skating, and tried a couple of new restaurants. Im havning the best time of my life living here and its in large part because of them(alot of them are on pleonast but there are to many to link them all, they know who they are).
Im also helping with the 5yr-2nd grade bible class at church. We only just had our first class last week but it looks like its going to be a fun class.

k. well I have to go get ready for work now. I will talk to u all later.

Stormy Sunflowers

Well the A-Z wedding is over and I am working on the pictures but since mom isnt showing any I guess I better not either. Guess youll just have to wait till later. :P
Instead I have a couple pics from a photo outing that Josh took me out on yesterday. He found this awesome field of Sunflowers while he was on one of his routes. Colorado is so pretty. :)
