Can you tell I'm happy??? =) We were watching tv, and she was in the swing. (I put her in there at 10pm) Well, Buddy and I fell asleep and woke up at 3am, she was still asleep, so we moved her to the bassinet in our room fully expecting her to wake up, but nope, so back to sleep for me and she didn't wake up until 7am!! What a good little girl. And I don't know if this is related, but lately I've been trying to get my 72oz. of water everyday, and the days that I actually do I find that the following day she is not fussy at all and sleeps WAY better, hum....I'll have to look into that. I was trying to teach Meredith the first 4 books of the New Testament and after she heard Luke, she smiled and said 'Lucas' or however she says his name. I'm not sure exactly how old Lili is now, but maybe she is having a growth spurt!  kiki Haha, I hope he knows it by the time I come out there : D I love it when babies say my name. I think Pete & Sarah were thinking about a dinner out?  spinningbee we are so spoiled seeing mom & dad in July, then visiting in September, and coming again in November. Next year is going to feel sooooo long!! And the way the economy is going...we're going to have to live simply to make sure we stay a-float. Which is fine, we're used to it. :) But I wish we could visit more often. Someday we can! Brian's school is getting more and more time consuming every term. His best class this term is (can you believe it) College Algebra! I'm so proud of him. ♥  login to comment hide comments In loving memory... 11-12-08 01:38pm EST Our sweet kitty Arwen passed away last night. It happened quickly and we still don't know exactly what happened. My sister-in-law who is a vet tech came over and is assuming that she had a blood clot and probably had a massive heart attack. I had just fed them at 6pm and after that I was making dinner. When dinner was done I was going to feed the baby, so I told Buddy to go get his and I would eat after that, well he came in a few minutes later letting me know that he thought something was wrong with her (He knew she had passed, but he was breaking it to me VERY sweetly), when he told me that she was just lying on the floor not moving and he had even tried shaking her, I knew. =( We got her the fall before we got married, so we've had her for 5 years...I will really miss my sweet little kitty. She was also Bison's sister. (1 older comment) lifeisgoood I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. She was a beautiful kitty.  gokulives I miss Arwen already... poor kitty... At least it happened before Luke and Lili became very attached to her. We won't have to worry about explaining it to them. We always have our fun memories though! ^_^  scbrewer I'm so sorry  _sylviaanne_ our cat is getting really lazy, we made him an outside cat about a month ago. (poor Tiger)  spinningbee She was a sweet heart! God is merciful. She went quickly, painlessly, and peacefully at home while you were there (so you didn't find her after an outing and wonder what ifs...) She had a beautiful life, surrounded by loving people and happy babies. She was our first "niece" and we loved her very much!!! This is my favorite picture of her, taken when she was a couple months old at your parents house. The look on her face is very "Arwen".  spinningbee I snapped this shot of her when we were at your house in September...   spinningbee Arwen turned 6 around August 16th - at least that's the birthday we chose for Bison. Ericha had a really good time.. she would tear up any time she talked about her bond with Lukas. She loves you so much, she has loved Lukas since before he was born, and was calling him the cutest baby before she even saw him. She has compared every baby to him, and has declared them all NOT as cute as LUKAS! Some are close, but none quite compare!!!  tweedledee What a sweet kitty. There are times that I still expect Leia to be hanging out on my bed. I wish I could've met her.  big_bertha_blue awe, I'm sorry  spinningbee Brian and I got married in August 2002, and a month later Bison and Arwen were dropped off at the animal hospital. Brian wanted to know if I wanted a cat, and I was concerned because we'd only been married a month and I thought we may want to live without a pet for a while...but we took Bison, Arwen, and Henry to our first apartment on Smith Street when they were like...5 weeks old? Nate was there. They were sooooo cute. Arwen hid the whole time, but Bison ran around like he owned the place. So that's why we adopted him. But I remember it was a while before you adopted Arwen...maybe she was a couple months older when you took her home? I don't remember!!  spinningbee But it sounds like you got Arwen like a year later, maybe she lived at the Animal Hospital for a year? Or maybe one of the techs took care of her for a while? Wouldn't surprise me - Sarah may remember!! We got Bison when he was really tiny. Here's a picture of the night the 3 kitties came to our house (I remember one of the techs was really mad we took them home for a night, but I wanted to see what their personalities would be like outside the animal hospital). I remember when they were soooo tiny, I played with them for like 3 hours and Henry explored all over and Arwen curled up on my knees in a tight little ball, and Bison fell asleep with all 4 paws in the air snoring on my lap. Baby Bison!! Sorry I don't have any of Arwen at this small...   spinningbee We were only at that apartment for a year. (we were rich!! Paying $750/month rent!! Wow!!!) Remember when you worked at the animal hospital and there was the terrible blizzard and you lived with us for a weekend? That was fun. We moved to Smith Street a year later (August 2003?) and Brian started working at UPS shortly after that. I can't believe they were so small!!!  calvinsparents I'm so sorry Cheryl.
