We really had lots of fun at our reception at the magical Galt House! It was a week after the CO honeymoon and 2 weeks following the ceremony. I highly recommend that schedule; you enjoy your guests a lot more and are so much more relaxed.
I have been having fun trying to get some of these pics ready for family to look over at thanksgiving. Jen always does a great job and we definitely have fun together even when she is behind the camera! I love her candid and natural style of capturing moments.
While the outdoors did not go so well this year, our new loft turned out fabulous thanks to Drew and my dad…take a look
We plan on using the space for study, guests, and our monthly bible study for middle and high school ages, every 1st Friday night @7pm (EST) Starting this SEPT 5th!!
The cool thing is, we only had to buy desk chairs (from IKEA). Most of the stuff came from Drew’s apartment!
The Stairway is full of old newspaper articles and ads from The Louisville Times 1950 (that was underneath the carpet stapled to the attic floor) So neat to reveal these finds…I had a similar experience in the garden revealing naturally layed brick path underneath the grass.
we're in e'town now. we were up in l'ville yesterday visiting with mark & teresa mccrary. mark and i helped some girl at DH move into a new apt. hopefully we'll see you and your wife sometime soon!
My computer died, uncoverable hard drive according to the tech who worked on it for 2 hours and even put it in the freezer in hopes to revive it.
So, my first reaction to this fatal event was pathetic. Today, I take inventory and realize all that I do have.
To name a few,
1.Great Husband who keeps me laughing 2. Great Home will all the modern conveniences 3. Great Family (including in-laws) that never cease to give comfort and encouragement
Lessons learned: Its sad yes, losing pic files particularly. There is so many things worse than losing a hard drive. Don't take stock in material blessings and put your treasures in heaven!
I was told that my wasn't recoverable and my son (Drew knows him, Jason) got everything off it!! I wish you were in the Nashville are maybe he could save your stuff too.
mine are in full bloom and i only fertilized them once this summer. sometimes, too much fertilizer will inhibit bloom. the web means spider mites. you need to spray with an insecticide to get rid of them. sometimes, soapy water works. if they haven't bloomed this late in the year, i'm not sure that they will.
ha! Thought this was Drew writing and your #1 through me for a loop! :) So sorry about your computer...we had the same thing happen last year. Our lesson learned was to back-up, back-up, and back-up some more! :) Congrats to you two on your marriage!! :)
With Bruce who married us and Diane who captured it on film.
Our Now Much Larger Family –
The Good Stuff –
Maybe I will post some of the honeymoon later! Or maybe I will just keep all those memories to myself :)
We have been working on trying to get our stuff together. Sabrina is staying busy with school still, and I have been working on finishing the upstairs with my father-in-law.
Sabrina mentioned movie night for Sunday. That works for us! Looking forward to it. I'll fix dinner or we can order pizza or something. Have a good week!
