To keep me focus and uplifted I have my radio at work on KSBJ a christian station here in Houston. Anyway, today the room was quiet as the kids worked on whatever homework they had. All of a sudden one of my 8th graders who I also had last year, so he is pretty comfortable with me, started singing..."shout to the Lord" all the earth praise His hame.
I looked up and he was grinning ear to ear. I smiled and told him how awesome of a kid he is...
You complain about the state of this country. Have you ever stopped to think it is in this state because of the MEN who have held the office of President.
Maybe what this country needs is a woman's touch...
I don't think it's because men ran this country anymore than I think its because white people ran this country. I think the problem is we have had humans who morally speaking leave something greatly to be desired and who philosophically speaking think the government is the answer to most of our problems as a nation. This is one thing I initially liked about Palin, she seems pretty moral and she seems like she knows that government is not the answer.
I have to wade to get to the crappie spots (at least the ones I know of). There are plenty of sunfish spots along the shore (basically everywhere you can cast that isn't too full of weeds).
I wish there was a place we could easily fish for Walleye. That's the favorite fish up here. I've only been able to catch one of keeping size though, and that was wading down the St. Croix river.
