I read the letter, and I actually think I get what he is saying. Barack claims to be religious, and they are giving readers a chance to see what he says in his book about what he believes. Palin claims to be religious, and they carry her book for the same reason. Also, some of their customers are very religious and yet will vote for Obama, even though he does those things. Not everyone who uses the Christian Supply is a conservative religious person, some go to the types of places Barack himself goes. Having said all that, I think it would have been better not to carry his OR Palin's books and stay out of politician's writings altogether.

I think it's like Gayle said, it's about the bottom line. And in order to make $$ they cater to everyone so as not to offend anyone, in their eyes. I rarely shop there anyway, since they don't carry any accurate translations of the Bible.

I get it. I think the big thing is that they aren't any sort of evangelistic group. They're a business, and they will think and work like one. Even their religious books have errors that lead people astray. If they screened things honestly by the Bible, they'd have a pretty small store. :)
