Work--not always as boring as you may think 11-14-08 10:47am EST
So...yeah, interesting time at the old CVS last night. I always enjoy working with Chris and Laurel. They're both random, hilarious people.

Last night we were all kinda in a strange mood and all we had to do was get the store looking really good because Earl was coming in. After they finished other chores they joined me in facing and we had a very interesting time. Such as when we started messing around with the talking stuffed animals. We have quite a few amusing ones and we enjoyed turning a bunch of them on at once.

I'm pretty sure some of the customers thought we were strange, but hey, you do what you can when it's 3 in the morning and you're busy doing one of the most boring jobs in the store.

I think, though, the most interesting part of the evening was when Chris told us about a lady who had come in on Wednesday and lost her fingertip. That's all I'll say right now because I'd rather tell the tale in person. Suffice to say, we made a lot of fingertip jokes last night...
rapunzelO.o
rapunzelyeah, definitely want to hear that story.
jessieroseI wanna hear that in person!! But I can't so can you tell m ethe story anyways?
jessieroseEwww! That's grosss. It is kinda distribing to think about it happening close to you.
Thanks for telling me!

I'm glad God blessed me with a roommate who I can talk to about anything (and I mean anything) and have her understand :) 11-11-08 08:07pm EST

Favorite Line from a Hymn 11-11-08 11:52am EST
"Give us Heaven-filled hopes, not Earth-made plans"

It's from "Broken Things," and I'm pretty sure I've posted about it before. But it's good to remember.

What about your favorite hymn? Or favorite line from a hymn?
pianobubWhy don't we ever sing hers? They're always hymns...
robertthehunlol, cause we're sexist remember......
robertthehunbut the titles of both "This is my Father's world" and "THis world is not my home" are good thoughts.

Go cardinals! Gotta love the hometown. 11-06-08 01:04am EST
fail owned pwned pictures
see more pwn and owned pictures

It would be in Louisville where they would turn a bad health services rating into a display of team spirit. :)
alexthecellistlol, wow....

i mean really, they could have at least used a sans-serif font for the other letters....
vampyric_ky_girlBeing that it is Louisville they probably did that so that clever people will get a laugh. It's a very ecclectic town and we like to laugh. :)
engelishgentlemanLol!

alexthecellistfair enough. it is clever, i'm just picky like that. :D
