Update on the house-- we are still living in the family room and the basement. The hardwood floors look great but the kitchen floor has some issues so.... We are making progress, however. Robert and his brother have most of the new baseboards down so now it is my job to fill nail holes and do the paint touch-ups. The girls spring break is coming up so I really have to get busy so they will have a place to sleep when they get home. Oh, and we have to get a bed since one of the beds was no longer very comfy. Robert and I took a break from the mess and went to visit my parents for a week. Cleveland, Ohio in February--what were we thinking? We had a really nice visit and I also got to see my sisters, but it was sure cold and dreary!!! I am ready for Spring! I will be going to Nashville with Meredith next week so please keep us in your prayers.
Don't worry about the bed situation! I have NO problem beating Renio out for the la-z-boy! ;) Please don't stress out over your car situation and getting here for my Nashville appointment. I love you, Mama! Can't wait to hug your neck in 10 days!
Sounds like you're really busy on the house! I just enjoyed a visit from Gloria - they came down for lectures - we went to the beach :)! Tons of fun with her sweet boys. Will be thinking of you and Meredith next week!
Well it seems that my daughter thinks that I need to update my page. It would be great if there was something truely spectacular to write about but unfortunately ( or fortunately depending on your perspective) our life has been pretty quiet. The biggest excitement is that the house is completely torn up. They are laying a new cork floor in our kitchen and then they will tear up all the carpet in the house and refinish the hardwood that is underneath. Robert and I are living in part of the family room and the basement. So far it has not been too bad, in spite of some delays, but it did make it impossible for any of the kids to come home for the long weekend. We took a roadtrip up to see Brittay and in true Link fashion it happened to be the coldest weekend of the winter!!!! It was still great to get to see her and it did us good to get away from the house. I hope that all of you are staying warm!!!
Well the holidays are fast approaching and that means the the kids will be heading home!!!! Brittany arrived late last night(or early this morning) and beat the predicted snow. Meredith will be home on Thursday (Happy Birthday a day late) and Philip will be in around the 24th. It is a change for Robert and I to have them all here and we love it. I hope all of you have a very safe and happy holiday.

What a cute picture! Indi seems to be going through lack of attention withdrawal :)! She's been really fussy today - I think because there is no one to hold her every second of the day! We really enjoyed visiting with you guys!!
