hey everyone. wow well it's been very busy but so relaxing here lately. so i just back from spending a while in texas. it was such a wonderful trip. i went to huston to see my sis. while we were there we went to NASA space center, went to the beach, the Alamo, (san antiono) the riverwalk there is absolutly beautiful. loved it to death. i went the rodeo...my first ever and it just happened to be the biggest one ever. i went up in the Americas Tower and go to see the sunset. it was so warm there too. i was sad to come back to the cold and snow. it takes about 20-23 hours to get down to texas. so it was a long drive but well worth it. as i was riding, driving, or just walking around down there or on the way down there you get a lot of time to think. God truely is amazing. it's amazing to see how different each state is and the wonderful beauty each one has. while i was down there i got to meet so many other people. it was awesome and i've made some awesome new friends. its always to great to have people make you feel at home when you're in a place you're not familiar with. it was kinda weird too cause i would run into so many others that knew so many people i knew or either they were from indiana also. it was cool.
Ecc. 3:11..... He has made everything beautiful in its time...no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Psalm 27:4...one thing I have desired of the Lord. That I will seek; That I may dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life. To behold the beauty of the Lord. and to inquire in His temple.
i know that even though i was so overwhelmed by Gods beauty while i was in texas i know that is will be even more beautiful in Heaven.
well in the mean time i did take my cosmetology test to get my license and I PASSED!!!! i was so nervous but then now im so glad to have that off my shoulders now. YAY!! but anway im on the job search now. no luck yet but i'll keep ya updated.
while i was away i also got the chance to visit Kelsey Harris. for those of you who don't know who she is..she is a young lady who is 15 years old and had a brain tumor. she is in memphis tennessee at st. jude hospital. she is taking radiation and chemo. she will be on chemo everyday for 2 years for as long as she can handle it. she is a beautiful young chrisian lady. she has such great faith in the Lord and is staying strong this whole time. i know it is very hard on the rest of her family as well. please pray for her and her family as she has a long road ahead of her.

well, since i'm a gold member, i have photo galleries i can use.
there are a couple options for you: 1) upload them to a photo site (e.g. Photobucket) and link them. 2) click on "rooms" and create a new room for each picture you want to upload. you can then put a picture in that room and link it from your main blog.
I want to appologize for not writting on here. It took me a while to even sign in cause i kept messing up the password. I think it has been over a year now since i've last updated this. well lets see what is goin on in my life now. I had to take a extra 100 hours at school so i'm doing that right now but I should be done next week and I'll be taking my state board test i think on thursday to get my license. wish me luck=) I am still living up in West Lafayette. Things this year have been pretty good. I've grown closer with my friends and have became better friends with others. I have been doing so much better spiritually as well. my prayer life has changed and my studying habbits have as well. All of the studies that we have up here have helped me out so much and I know that i have grown so much by it. I thank God for blessing me with such wonderful people and that helped me grow. hmmm lets see what else is new....well it seems like there are about 15 or more ppl getting married and most of them are this summer. so it'll be crazy...it's so exciting though as well. one of my best friends brittany is getting married in june=) i'm so happy for her but at the same time i will miss her like crazy because she will be moving to Florida, But i know she will do great. speaking of ppl moving. My sister moved down to Texas this past august. that has been a change for me as well. its hard being that far away from her. my family and i are planning a trip to see her in the next few weeks. well i was reading my last update on here and i just laughed because i read that it was just going to be my nephews 1st birthday. My nephew is now 2 and my neice Audra who i had mentioned is now 1 and half. I do have another nephew named Caden and he turned 1 in december. so yea things have changed in my family since the last time i wrote. the babies are getting bigger all the time but it has been amazing watching them grow and talking so much now. some other things have also happened. My grandpa found out he has lung cancer and is doing cemo and radiation for that. my other grandma has been sick for a while now too she recently had test done on her lungs and her heart but they came back ok, so praise God for that. I have a friend Kelsey who had recently found out she had a brain tumor. she had surgery on it on wednesday and they were able to remove the bulk of it. she is still in the hospital and in quite a bit of pain. she has a lot of recovery left to do. Another one of my friends, Natasha Morgan is having tests done because she might have cervical cancer. I met Natasha playing volleyball up here with a lot of friends last summer and she has been such a blessing to have in my life. She got baptized back in September so that was awesome. She still struggles though so please keep her and all the others that i mentioned in your prayers. they all mean so much to me and I know that if it is Gods will they will be ok. well i don't really know of anything else that has gone on so sorry again for the long delay. hope everyone is doing well and i'll keep updating more often. i hope=)
Good to hear an update from you! Good luck on your test! Have fun when you go to TX! Sorry to hear about your grandparents and friends! I hope they are all well soon!
