Exemption from my Humanities final is a huge relief considering that next week I have 2 presentations, a final in Music, 2 or 3 projects, and 2 papers due. I'm not going to let myself worry though, because it always works out somehow. I just gotta have faith and pray.
Saturday the 16th is move-in day!! I'm going to be so excited to see everyone again!
My family's trip to Atlanta was awesome. The laser show at Stone Mountain was "Phenomenal" as Dave Morrow would say. I had never seen anything like that before. We did a lot of exploring, saw my dad's house, and visited his other congregation. After driving around the town a lot I know of several places I would like to visit next time I go up there.
We're not sure where we are going to be living yet. We're thinking we're going to get an apartment at least until I'm finished with school, He's probably going to move into an apartment before we get married, he'll probably move into Laurel Oaks, but not sure yet. How are things going for you? What's new?
What music final do you have? Is it the teaching music in elementary school class?
See you soon! I'll have to get in touch with you about where to pick me up for church while I'm there. I'll either be on campus, with Holly and Caleb, or Jennifer and Travis (Watson).
I am still up for Sunday nite but I am going to the Ladies Prayer meeting after church also. Peggy really tries to time it so it ends right at 45 minutes So, I will be arriving late OK?
No. My doctor needed me to take blood so she can tell me about me! LOL! I need a physical and part of doing that was them taking my blood to look at it to see more about me and check on things like my cholestrol. That's all!
Sorry I didn't answer you, I haven't been on in forever...I've moved to one of the top stores in my area. No drunks. At least not yet :) Did I tell you I'm coming down the 11th? kinda late now if I didn't lol
This is a post in response to the following comment that my mom made on my blog:
"Make a new post and answer the following questions. How is school going? Was Disney fantastic? What do you want to do for your 21st birthday? Post a couple of pictures too."
1) School is going well. I just finished my last TESOL post last night. TESOL is an online class and we have to write 2 posts per week about the textbook; it's a very intense class, so I am happy it is coming to a close! Next week I have 3 tests, but I'm not too worried. All is good.
2) Disney was wonderful as always. It was hot, but it was not nearly as crowded as I expected :). At one point, the line for "It's a Small World" was only 5 minutes long! I really hope to go to Epcot someday in the near future. Epcot has lots of history and foreign culture stuff; I dig all that!
3) My 21st birthday is on August 11th. I would like a digital camera, since I lost my old one at the beach. What I really want for my birthday though, is to never lose or break a single camera ever again! lol. I've had some bad luck with cameras, and I am a little cautious about getting a new one. I almost don't trust myself to use a camera! lol. Besides a camera, I don't know what I want. To find Prince Charming would be nice, but you can't exactly wrap him up in a box and give him to your daughter for her birthday :-P
4) Pictures... I tried to post some Disney pictures about 10 minutes ago, then I accidentally deleted my whole post. So, this is the new post. Maybe Mom can show me how to post pictures when she gets home.
Hope all is going well with everyone!! I am currently anticipating a trip to Atlanta next weekend. I think we're going to Stone Mountain :-D
Hey, I just saw your picture in the corner at Sedona. What a beautiful place that is! Jeff's brother lives north of Phoenix and so we have had some great opportunities to sightsee in Arizona when we visit them.
The Sky Hike is a ropes course off the ground. There are three levels with the highest level being 40 ft up in the air. The lowest level is probably 10 ft up. You have a safety harness that you wear that is attached and goes with you so that if you were to fall you would only fall 6 inches or so. Anyway, we saw everyone from 5 yr olds to 60 yr olds walking the course. Of course, Jeff wanted to do the 40 ft course, so that is the one we started with. I was a little intimidated by the height, but it was a lot of fun once I got started. Ian (who is 5) loved it!! You can see a picture of it on the Stone Mtn website under attractions.
People wait in line for It's a Small World? Why? ha ha I remember riding that ride as a kid. Anyway, I am glad you are doing well. Kick butt on your finals!
haha! I have tim's numa song on my myspace profile... I NEVER look at my profile but I had someone from church say that they liked that video and so I re-watched it 2 days ago. :) It made me think of FC and all of us girls dancing to it.
I have come up with a few officesupply stuff I am going to give you...nothing major, just some extra stuff I have. Keep it if you want it, if not maybe someone at FC might want some of it.
Here are two good sites for colors, the fisrt one is probably my favorite. Just click on the color, and it will give you a code for it. :)

Today I learned that my cousin from Nevada will be flying into Florida in one week! I'm so excited! Everytime we get together, there is sooo much laughter involved.
Tomorrow is my last day working at Wal-Mart. I have mixed feelings about leaving. Part of me wants to stay and make more money; the other part of me is glad to have time to relax.
In early August I will be traveling w/my family to Atlanta. It will be nice to experience some cooler weather and see some beautiful mountains.
This summer is flying by way faster than I thought it was. I just realized there's only one month left until FC starts back up :).
I hope all of your summers are like a dream come true!
I am glad about Heather! I know how you feel about leaving your job. I am with "emmybear" ...Let me know if Atlanta is cooler! HAHA! There is a reason why it is called "Hotlanta".
Remember that one easter a LONG time ago (Probably four or five years ago), when me, you, and heather made HENRY the bunny cake?! LOL! I should look for that picture!!
I hope you have a good time w/ your cousin! Enjoy the rest of your summer. About the working thing...you will be working your entire life. Enjoy some down time while you still can.
Make a new post and answer the following questions. How is school going? Was Disney fantastic? What do you want to do for your 21st birthday? Post a couple of pictures too.
I hope everyone has the independence day of a lifetime! I wonder if Veronica knows how to make stars on posts. lol. Anyway, what are ya'll doing for fourth of july? I'm working from 11 am - 8 pm, then afterward I'll see some fireworks.
Hey there! Happy 4th to you too! Sorry you have to work. I am going to help my friend Doug paint the fence in his backyard and then I am going to a cookout with friends from church. After we stuff ourselves full of yummy grilled burgers and such we will go onto Fort Leavenworth to see the fireworks show. It should be fun. Work is very slow right now. I actually just accepted a new job right in Leavenworth so I am giving my notice to my current employer on Monday. I am just tired of driving so far for work. So, I have taken this new job that is only 5 minutes from my house. We'll see what God does. Love ya.
HA! No, i do not know how to do a star. :( you've encouraged me to learn how, though. ;)
for independence day; I just got picked up from camp a few hours ago. then i slept. then i think we're (my family and the handcocks) are having some people over for food tonight.
Hey... I worked and had a hard time getting home!!! All the peoples camped, parked, partied, bbqd all around "A" mountain for the fireworks, never knew they did this, as we always stay home on the 4th... we have the casino to watch their fireworks, so we never have to leave anywhere!!! Anyway, Dan cooked hamb, hot dogs and stuff so that when I got home, there was some good good food!!!
It was great to see you the other day, we should get together sometime this summer, we haven't hung out in so long!! I have a new number....it's (813)842-6284....miss you and hope to see you soon!
I'm working on my final project for class and working at JCP, my best nights would be Monday after 4pm, and Thursday night after 7pm, maybe we can go see a movie or bowling sounds like fun
well, you haven't heard much from me lately because this summer i've been a full time student and an almost-full time employee at wal-mart. I've pretty much gone insane, but yesterday I came to the comforting conclusion that I have enough money to last me for the schoolyear. So, i put in my two weeks' notice at work today. Ironically, today i was supposed to get a 40 cent raise, but i quit before I found out! So, when I go back at Christmastime I'll be making $9.30 an hour, which is some pretty sweet mula. Also, they want to train me to work at the service desk when i come back.
In other news, my cousin from Nevada is coming out to spend some time with us in a few weeks. I am excited about hanging out with her. We may go to Disney World while she is out here.
Cool! Are you guys still planning on going out there to get her? I am glad you don't have to wrk at Wal-mart anymore. I am going to Disney Friday for the 4th. I hope I don't die from the heat! :0
We don't have big plans for Independence Day. Dan has the day off - so I am hoping we can do something that isn't the normal everyday routine. We are planning to go watch the fireworks. Hopefully we will do something else too. Maybe a picnic?
I think it's so cute that Sarah calls the holiday - Independence Day - Not The 4th of July. We were at the library today and she told one of the librarians that we were going to watch the Independence Day fireworks.
Ok, let's see if I got this right. The good- you quit your job. The bad- You've gone insane or you missed the 40 cent raise. The ugly- um, Nevada? Bobby Blacko?
Great talking to you tonight! I am glad things have "Kinda" calmed down for you! I still have to have my movie night. Shari and Nancy are sick now. Have you seen Indiana Jones yet? Did you even want to?
