There's a singing at the Bellaire Congregation in Houston this Friday night at 7:00pm.
I know that is when our Bible Study is scheduled, but I know the members of Bellaire would be very much encouraged if some of us went. If you'd like to go with me just let me know!!
The song leaders will be RJ Stevens, Tim Stevens, Adam LaRue, Michael Stringer, Glen Tomblin.
Bellaire is the congregation I attended while living in Houston. Can't wait to see everyone again!! |

I went today because 1.) the pain has become intolerable and 2.)I think my roommates and Donald were tired of me complaining (although I think they secretly enjoyed the Yost-Ibuprofen mix)
So my experience. First we'll being with how I feel right now: TERRIBLE, LOTS OF PAIN, ready to remove my back.
Back to the chiropractor's office visit. It was nice, I watched a video regarding the "Chiropractic Experience" (it was a VHS tape). Saw my Dr., Very nice man. Then had to go through some sort of electric shock therapy business. Let me explain what it felt like/what I was imagining:
They put these harmless looking electrode things on my back in various places and tell me I'll experience a slight tingling which will heighten as they increase the volume. Ok, sounds good. And it did feel nice. I laughed when it would start (as it would stop and start randomly) because it tickled. Then the "tingling" would begin again. It felt like little HEAVY ants running really quickly across my back in a pattern. So as the "treatment" was progressing, in between boughts of sleep, I was imagining ants marching and playing instruments across my back. It was nice. And funny.
Then the Dr. "adjusted" my back ie contorted my body into positions I didn't know could be done especially during the amount of pain I was enduring. Then a little massage therapy (NICE, NICE)!
So, I'm still hurting, I have more appointments, this needs to work fast and I smell like my Dr. THE END.

This is for those who said I had to post this.....
I was riding my bike yesterday, as has become customary for me. I usually ride a little over 8 miles, which takes me thru the Traditions subdivision, then out onto Hwy 47 back to Villa Maria. I always stop at the end of Traditions and at the corner of Hwy 47 and Villa Maria to take a drink of water. So, yesterday was no different.
I will tell you that I was paying attention to the following things:. 1. I passed a man walking on Hwy 47. 2. The music playing on my iPod. 3. That a man that is always working in his shed while his truck doors are open playing music was MISSING.
I was taking of drink of my water on the corner of Hwy 47 and Villa Maria. When all of a sudden something hits my back tire and knocks me over a little (I did not fall!!) I turn around and it's a DONKEY. Yes, a DONKEY. A cute grey donkey. The next thing I hear (not in my head) is a man yelling "Grab the Donkey! Grab the Donkey!" So, I obey and grab the donkey. And wait patiently till he catches up to us. He said he'd been trying to catch said donkey for an hour. So, yes, I was side swiped by a donkey while riding my bike today. CRAZY!
Reasons today will be great: 1. The Lord has blessed me with another day to serve Him. 2. The radio was playing a sing-a-along to Aladdin's "Never had a Friend Like Me"
Good Times. Good Times.
Smile! |
