Adam is here

He got here this morning.

As always, he is quite a bit cooler than me.
I want to be just like Adam when I grow up.

    Really, when I analyze the situation as deeply and fully as I have, I'm convinced Adam's coolness can be reduced to one simple word (sadly for him and happily for you). And he's left you with a clue (WHAT a good brother!) as your profile avatar: socks.

    Seriously. It's the socks that make Adam cool. They give him the confidence, the support, the cleanliness, the wafting aroma, the respect that in turn fully enables him to be cool.

    So... what are you waiting for?!? Sock it to him!!! ;)

    My canon has been great. One feature I really like is the flip screen. Rather than just being a screen on the back of the camera body, it folds out and rotates to just about any angle - helpful in so many situations where you need to hold the camera at an odd angle (or up above your head!) and still see what it's seeing.

    Nikon is oh, so good. most people i know who are in school for photography (i know a decent handful) use Nikons and i love what they can do. they can be pricey, but for the quality, they're well worth it.

Lately I have been reminded how important it is to count our blessings. We are so very, very blessed and yet so often turn a blind eye upon it all. Today I am going to challenge myself to count my blessings and to focus on what is true, and honorable, and just, and pure, and lovely. Won't you join me?

    Good idea. One lovely thing: His mercies are new every morning. I most often hear people say that after they have had a bad day, and it is appropriate then, but on this day I think of it in the sense that by His mercy I had a good day yesterday and by His mercy I can have another today.
