Hey, everyone.
Its that time of the year again. Time to express thankfulnes for all the Lord has blessed us with and done for us, especially as a country. But then again, we should show such thankfulness throughout the year, not just the fourth Thursday of November. Our Lord instructs us to "In everything give thanks."
I'm realizing that I fall way short of this command. Pleonast is one tool I am truly thankful for, because those of you who are on my friends list can come and read how thankful I am that you are a part of my life. I would not be able to survive what this life has brought me without good friends such as you.
So, if you're reading this, know that I love you and thank God for you. May our Lord bless you both now and in eternity for your outpouring of love to me.
I love you all!
Marsi

Hello, everyone.
We're back from a wonderful timee at the mountains. We got rained out of Chimney Rock. But we discovered how it got its name by looking up at it on the side of the road. It looks just like a chimney!
We visited Grandfather Mountain. The mile high swinging bridge there was awesome! WE toured the Carl Sandburg home in Flat Rock, NC. That was an interesting place to see. We got to see three major waterfalls, we went horse back riding, and hiked up Look Out Mountain in Montreat, NC. That was the hardest thing I did the whole week and I ended up spraining my ankle in the process.
The highlight of our vacation, though, was when our son, Matthew, became a Christian. We hope that you all will rejoice with us.
TTFN!
Hello, everyone.
As you can tell, I am pretty patriotic. I enjoy listening to Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. I have a conservative world view and would like to become more active with grass roots efforts to return our country to the values that our founding fathers sacrificed their lives and fortunes for us to enjoy. I would love to hear good ideas from anyone who is doing the same.
Next week, Carry and I are taking our children to North Carolina for camp this year. We're going to stay in the mountains while they are there.
Our plans are to enjoy Chimney Rock, Grandfather Mountain, go horse back riding, and spend one day just driving around looking at waterfalls in Transylvania County. We serve a mighty powerful God, don't we? The mountains declare His glory!
We'll also be spending time with one of my older sisters who will be vacationing there. She, too, is a picture of God's glory.
Hi, everybody. Most of you know that God has blessed my family with a new home!!! We intend to use that blessing to His glory. We have increased our opportunities for hospitality and fellowship by being able to entertain a whole lot more people. [
Mary is in the middle of two weekend performances of "Into the Woods". She is also taking a Spanish course at HCC. She is FC bound in 2008.
Matthew is getting ready to cross over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. The two of us have been to Disney World's Magic Kingdom and MGM Studios together. We will be spending quite a bit of time there in the next year.
Carry has been Matthew's den leader in scouts for the last two years. The two of them are planning to go camping with the Boy Scouts this weekend. Carry is planning on being a part of leadership with the Boy Scouts next year. I've really enjoyed watching the two of them grow closer through the scouting activities they've been involved in.

Have a wonderful holiday with your family!
I don't get to Pleonast much any more. I guess I am too busy. I try not to be, but I guess that's how life is.
Thanks for your good thoughts.
