fun fact

Between his two books (origin of species and descent of man) Darwin used the phrase, "We may well suppose..." about 800 times.

btw, I'm gonna go ahead and post that post I was talking about, after I finish some proof reading. I guess those people aren't the answering type, then again, "Contact Us" forms on websites don't seem to get much use. oh well. a quote and a linkback will do.

I'm working on a new post...

Like I promised in the previous post, but I'm awaiting response from a site I'm wanting to quote from. So it's coming soon. :D

Romans 1:16 "I am not ashamed of the gospel..."

learning a bunch from Ken Ham. Got some new ideas that I'm sure no one will be interested in hearing. Cool things include: why the earth really is young, why Christians must accept the authority of God in everything, and how science and evolution disagrees.

It's sorta late... so I'm sure I'll come back tomorrow, or next month, read this post, and stand and stare I'd like to make myself believe that planet earth turns

slowly

So I'll read this post, say wow such greatly good grammar, and edit it all. Except I don't ever proofread pleonast posts. Don't want to give people the wrong impression.

Cool news: psystar lost it's legal battles to apple. Way to support the underdog, selfish monopolistic sillyheads.

cuz everything is never as it seems.

Yeah, also Bible study is fun. Learning a lot. And stuff. I'll post some relevant thoughts about our wonderful society & media here probably this week. Don't read it if you're easily offended or not a Berean.

So I'll work on that later.

Well yeah. I need to study some more, because i need to. That's called good logic by the way, or at least that's what everybody tells me.

Ending on a happy note, I *might* not be unemployed sorta maybe soon. Wasnt that confusing

It's been a while

So here's a new post.

Whats new

I bought a new laptop because my other compy was getting old. So I sold my desktop and bought a cool HP. I'm also excited for lectures. Cause it sounds cool and awesome and it sounds like fun to hang out with the college kidz.

Also, I'm officially a freelancer web designer part of a freelancer group. Now we need customers.

So yeah -- that's the post.

Awesome computer

Mac OS X Snow Leopard v10.6 + iLife + iWork / Windows 7 Premium Dual Boot
2.66GHz Quad-Core Xeon Nehalem
12GB DDR3 1333 RAM
1TB 7,200RPM SATA2 w/32MB CACHE Hard Drive
22x DVD±RW DL Optical Drive
GeForce 9600GSO 1GB Graphics Card

All for $1,969

Want to get a mac with the same specs? Go ahead -- spend $2,499.00 at Apple. :D

EDIT:Actually, now that I look back, to get a Mac with the same specs, you'd need to spend around $4,129. $2,499 is only the base model. Also, $150 for compatible DVI/VGA adapters.

Will, me darlin', I have no idea what you are talking about. I am glad you exist with all of your techno knowledge, but I have no idea what you are talking about. I hope you can be glad I exist even with all my lack of techno knowledge, and when you take over the world, remember the little people like me and be kind, ok?

I know what you're talking about. Did you buy one? Only thing, not sure what the computer is that you described since you said the mac is $2,499.00. Sure makes me wonder if I want a new Mac Pro (but think they are probably more expensive that $2499) - but I have Snow Leopard, the new iLife and iWork, quad processors, 8 GB of memory and way more than a TB of hard drive space. Only thing, I can't use it right now since I'm half-way around the world!!

No, I didn't buy the psystar... I'm actually looking at this: http://www.gateway.com/systems/series/529598109.php. It comes with a bunch of features that you usually have to pay for, like HDMI ports (future proofing :3), web cam, multi-touch-touch (O_o is that what it's called?) pad, and Wireless N (which we don't actually have in our house... lol). Because Gateway kinda died a couple years ago, they cut their prices, loaded the features, and did better with customer service to increase their small market share. Mainly, this is a good laptop, and cheap, too. It's a lot like the Dell Studio, but cheaper. I'll be looking to buy this laptop or it's relative equivalent before I go to college, but if Psystar is still around and if I have enough money for design college, I'll definitely be going with the Psystar.
