how was your xmas?? sorry to hear you're moving to canada. i've been out of the loop...
    by tickets at 12/29/08 10:22PM

i may move to canada

if obahma wins, i am worried about us turning into a communist country.

i dont make enough money to worry about me paying more taxes, but the company i do does (4 billion in just profit last quarter), which means they will have less to pay me, which means people not working at all will have more money...

and the people who own and or manage companies (the people who pay me) who made more money will now make less money. huh...

in another words, if your a small biz owner who makes $250,000 plus, your taxes will change and you will have less money, less money to pay your middle class worker, which means you need to lay a couple off... which means less jobs... oh wait this isnt looking good...

some good facts...

The top 5 percent pay well over half the income taxes.

The New York Times reported recently that the average family in America with an income of $10 million or more received a half-million-dollar tax cut, while the middle class got crumbs (less than $100 shaved off their tax bill). If we examine the taxes paid in a static world—that is, if we assume that there was no change in behavior and economic performance as a result of the tax code—then these numbers are meaningful. Most of the tax cuts went to the super wealthy. But Americans did respond to the tax cuts. There was more investment, more hiring by businesses, and a stronger stock market.

Agreed...completely. I registered to vote this yeat mainly because Obama scares me so much. I am voting against him more than for McCain.

I'm thinking about moving to Alaska. I think that Alaska should just become a country of its own with Palin as our Pres and McCain can be the VP. I've heard the New Zealand is fairly conservative. I think Australia may be too, I'm not sure. But I had two classmates last year who were from Australia and I really liked there ideas of high standards for education. I think they though that we Americans are a bunch of pansies when it comes to holding people to standards in education, and I think I agree.

I love number three. Too many so-called Americans are falling for the party of bread and circuses.

2nd Amendment (not writen by me)

A very high % of 'victims' are people who depend on others to protect them.

Any believer of the 2nd Amendment will enjoy the below.

The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense.
. . . waiting for attack!

The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important
than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics stink.

I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy.

When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.

A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him 'Why do you carry a .45?'

The Ranger responded, 'Because they don't make a .46.'

The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm. 'Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?'

'No Ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my rifle.'

I was once asked by a lady visiting if I had a gun in the house. I said I did.

She said 'Well I certainly hope it isn't loaded!'

To which I said, of course it is loaded, can't work without bullets!'

She then asked, 'Are you that afraid of someone evil coming into your house?'

My reply was, 'No not at all. I am not afraid of the house catching fire either, but I have fire extinguishers around, and they are all loaded too.'

Haha...thank you for that post. I pretty much carry my sidearm open carry all the time now. It has resulted in me getting into no more 2nd ammendment discussions with leftist cooks because they just steer clear of me now.
