He arrived on May 4th at 2:29 pm. HE is such a cutie! There is a picture on Daniel's blog. I still can't figure that out! I had several complications after delivery with losing a lot of blood on top of being anemic already...and now baby Sam is having some problems going to the bathroom. He has to go in for a biopsy on Wednesday morning so please pray that everything works out with that. It is so sad to see him in pain. So please pray that both of us get better soon!!

Congrats! Complications are no fun. I hope it all works out!

For the first 2 months after Indi was born, I was a walking zombie and miserable! Jeremy was complaining to a co-worker and she came back the next day with this book called "On Becoming Baby Wise" by Ezzo and Bucknam. A LIFESAVER!! I'd heard conflicting oppinions about it before we had a baby, but it worked for us. 2 months later, INdi was sleeping 9 hours and then 3 more after a feeding. We started it with Amelia earlier and she's already at 6-7 hours. It's easy to read and simple. Gave me such confidence as a new mother. So many people were giving me their 'advice'. It was finally nice to have something that worked for me and gave me confidence to turn down advice, most especially from my MIL. Anyways, the one thing I didn't like in the book was they say you should always put your baby to bed awake, but sleepy. I didn't like having them cry even though it made sense. I loved rocking my babies to sleep. But we did eventually do that. I would say it's worth a read for sure and then go from there.

Sorry, that was a long entry. But, to this day Indi sleeps 11-12 hours straight each night. (she started going 11 hours once we switched to formula at 10 months). It is so nice to put her down and then be "off duty" (unless she's sick or has the occasionaly fall of the bed or something) till 8 the next morning! Can't wait to get there with Mela!

Well if Samuel hasn't arrived by Sunday...looks like I will go in Sunday night to the hospital and be induced on Monday morning. Please pray that everything goes smoothly and we have a healthy baby!

I just noticed that the baby is on the last flower over there on my ticker. That is so crazy. Hopefully not too much longer and Baby Samuel will be here. I can't wait to meet him and feel very blessed to have this opportunity. Hopefully the next time I post I will have pictures. Actually Daniel will have to post them because I can never figure out how to do that on this site.

YEA!!! We are excited. Just try to keep youself busy this last month!

Did you hear that Kasey had her baby on Sunday night? 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches long. She was 3 weeks early and had to be on Oxygen for about 12 hours, but seems to be doing fine. Kasey has been having hign BP since the birth (not before) and they are still monitoring her. They are all happy!

Can't wait to hear about yours! Our baby boom is starting here! HA!
