New Year (Tracy)

I realized that we hadn't posted anything yet this year and January is almost over, so it seemed time. I am 15 wks pregnant today, and seem to be past the nausea, which is great. :) We are going to a pregnancy "spa" on Feb 13th to get an ultrasound done, and supposing the baby is cooperative, we hope to find out if this will be a boy or a girl. I'm really excited to know! This pregnancy has been so different than the last, so I'm sort of guessing it might be a girl this time, but you never know.

The year has started off really busy. A lot of it has been fun stuff, but an unusual amount of sad too. Tomorrow morning will be the 3rd funeral we've attended this month. Tonight we're driving to Frankfort to have dinner with my dad, but it'll be a quick one so we can get back in time for the visitation. We're hoping to potty train Andrew this weekend. I bought lots of little boy underwear at the store today. He particularly likes the ones with Handy Manny on them. Andrew's been cranky all year. His tonsils are swollen and probably hurt, but the doctors can't fix it. And also he's two now. So that probably contributes to the crankiness. Hmmm, that's a lot of unrelated thoughts to be in one paragraph. Oh, well! Happy new year everyone.

Yay for 15 weeks pregnant! :) And double yay for no nausea!!! :) I had SO much less this time around - not that it was awful with Macy, but it was barely noticeable this time! :)

Ooooh, what's involved in a pregnancy spa?? I might have to sign me up for one of those next time! I'm going Thursday to get a prenatal massage, though - that's good enough for me. :)

So glad the nausea is gone now! Can't wait to hear what you find out in February. What else do you get at a "pregnancy spa"?? Prenatal massage and facial? That's what should come with it, if it doesn't! :)

Potty training...let me know how that goes. I have absolutely no idea where to start with a boy. It like a foreign language to Michael. Lol, I guess it really is a foreign language to him, if you know what I mean.

I know what you mean about the crankiness...Michael has been very cranky the last month. Just two days ago, though, I found two new teeth. You'd think he would have had them all by now, but he's just late in the teeth area.

What is going on with Andrew's tonsils? Why can't they help him?

And what is a pregnancy spa??? Sounds wonderful =)

(t) The pregnancy spa does in fact offer facials, massage, pedicures, etc. to pregnant ladies. Which is really cool. Unfortunately however, they do charge for these services. So we will only be getting the ultrasound :) But that's exciting enough for me. And really, it's January, so who's looking at my toes anyway?

As for Andrew's tonsils, they have already tried antibiotics, antihistamines, and steroids, with no results. The only other thing they could do is take them out, and they feel like as long as they aren't so big he can't breathe, that it isn't worth the risk of surgery on someone his age. So, he basically just has to deal with it.

New Baby!

Around July 20th we hope to meet the newest member of our family! Tracy is expecting! She has had some mild nausea and a few headaches, but is so far doing very well. Please remember our growing family in your prayers!

Andrew is learning to say "There's a baby growing in mommy's belly." We are excited for him to meet his sibling soon. YEAH!!!!

We are SO excited!! :) It will be precious to see Andrew with his new baby brother or sister. Praying!!
