Red Shoes

So these are the shoes I wore in my mom's wedding. I like them and want to keep wearing them with other outfits. Problems is, I'm fashion illiterate and have no idea what else they'd look good with. I'm thinking of a nice pair of darker wash jeans, but what kind of top?

red top to match the shoes or a designed top with red in it... or an all black dress... and take brendan to dinner!

Cute! All black top, kind of dressy-ish....if you wear a red top, it is HIGHLY unlikely you'd get it the same exact shade of red.... :)

You can wear red shoes with anything! Dark jeans and a neutral top would look great. Or of course with anything red in it. But not too much red, you don't want to overdo it!

I can't believe your mom got married! Is she moving back to WV?

They would also look great with a black and white dress/skirt outfit with a splash of red accessories. Pretty shoes!

I just found out that Lady Gaga is my cousin. Her grandmother and my grandfather are half brother and sister. Never would have guessed that relative in a million years.

And I did see Lady Gaga play the piano on Ellen...and even though her fashion style and song lyrics are out there (to say the least)...I really do think she is talented; good vocals and good job on the piano too.

As for how I found out...my Aunt was reading an article in the newspaper about how Lady Gaga recently met the Queen of England. In the same article it mentioned her parents' and grandparent's names. And my Aunt recognized them off the bat. So she clipped the article and mailed it to my dad. He thought it was a joke...he wondered why my Aunt would send him a pic of Lady Gaga...but then he flipped it over and read the article. Her mom's name is Cindy...that's my Dad's cousin. He went to high school with her but hasn't seen her since. So to find out her daughter is a star made the day pretty interesting.

So my mom brought home this cute piggy from our family reunion today. Before she went home she asked if I wanted it. I thought it was cute...so I took it. Brendan HATES it!!!! to say the least. Now...this isn't typically something I'd have in my house. Not really into statues like this...but I couldn't pass up that smile :D

Good thing you don't have any friends who feel that such beasts are unclean. That could be offensive. Have you looked into your husband's roots? Perhaps he is concerned that this will soon turn into idol worship as you bring your food and lay it at his feet to eat the fat portions therof. I don't know.

Cameron Andrew Born was welcomed into this world at 12:06 am Thursday morning. He was 20 1/2 inches long and weighed 8lbs even. Mom and baby are doing well. Kaitlin & Dakota were excited to see him, and word was that Connor didn't like him at first...hehehe.

Opryland Hotel

Well...the only pictures I took on vacation were of the Opryland Hotel. That place was huge!! It had several large rooms with indoor gardens. Even though it was all man made it is still beautiful. Enjoy!
