Friends-

The Kelsey Wynne Harris Foundation is proud to announce the production of "Eat Something Worth Tasting," a cookbook of over 500 recipes. I and many others you know have contributed recipes to this project. The proceeds of the cookbook sales, as well as other "kelsey gear" (found on the below website) will be used to encourage other families dealing with cancer, send kids to camp, and possibly even fund a new writing scholarship in Kelsey's name (since writing was something she loved to do). The diapers stink and leak. I could probably work on them to get rid of these issues but truth is I don't like washing them.

actually, Jamie is down there right now vacuuming up water :/ We keep an eye on it and sop up a lot of water, so it hasn't gotten into the carpet much, so that is good. Well, I say 'we'--actually it is just J. He is wondering if there is bleach in the water bc our hands crack worse after we carry and wring out the wet towels, and with the mold that has to be developing down there, he is being mindful of me and Baby and doesn't want me to be around it.

We turned in a reorder on the 23rd. They said it should be available in 4-6 weeks, so we are right there on the time. I am expecting them by the first week of December. So if you get an order together and collect payment and get it to me, then the day after they come in, I will ship. If I get the cookbooks before I get your order, then I will ship as soon as I get the order, if all that makes sense.

hey starla! i didn't run into DC on 9/11, but overall life continued on as normal. i know that there was a plaque or memorial of some sort remembering the day that pelosi was at a couple days before though...there were e-mails sent to the different agencies that asked for a time of silence at the time when the planes hit.

Brad worked Saturday so we didn't do a whole lot this weekend. Weekends are harder for me, the kids are around so I want to spend time with them and pay for it on Monday trying to play catch up.

We decided that it would be worth the money for sure. However, it's not in our budget this month and while we have the money in order to stick to our budget we have opted against it at this point. I think we have decided we need a deep freeze in order to make the most of it. So now to budget in a deep freeze. :)

I guess the smallest group I have ever worshipped with was probably 10, when my sister and her husband help start the group in Georgetown, KY. This group will be in my prayers always for God to give them continued strength and knowlege to grow in their faith. BTW what surprise????

Ran across this online and thought you might be interested (I sure was!). The Smithsonian magazine is sponsoring a free museum day on Sat Sept 26. If you go to the below website, you can sign up to print TWO free passes to be used on the 26th. You can search the site to see which museums are participating across the country, but some of interest to me are the art museum here in New Albany, Steamboat Museum in Jeff, College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Frazier History Museum and Louisville Slugger/Bat Factory in Louisville, as well as Locust Grove. For you moms, you might be able to get grandparents to sign up for the deal as well.

He'll be at Crestwood. We're going Monday and Friday. I would go Tuesday if I found someone to go with (mom has a sleep study that night). I haven't decided about Thursday night.
