Howdy,
I am on the hunt for a new dining room table & chair set. I say new as in only being new to us, it can be used if it's in decent shape. We need at least 6 chairs. Does anyone of my friends in the Indy/Lafayette area know of any good used furniture stores? I checked the ones here in town, but they didn't have what we need.

Good morning everyone! Have you adjusted to the time change? I felt very draggy yesterday, but managed through. I tried to take a mid-afternoon nap, but that was hopeless because Kentucky was playing Miss St in the SEC finals, who could sleep through that game? :) Friday night, we went to the singing at Lakeview and Saturday night we went to the meeting at Williamsport. Today finds me getting Drew's laundry caught up so he can head back to USI later. Tomorrow, we will be driving to Seymour to attend the visitation for one of our dear friends sister, the funeral is Wednesday, but we won't be able to go for that. We then plan to drive up to Westfield after the funeral home to go to the gospel meeting. Wednesday morning is study with Holly as well as our mid week service, Thursday night is the home study here and as of now, Friday evening is open! We've had something to do every night since last Tuesday, so it's been about midnight before my head has hit the pillow. I've never been a good night person and it's really catching up with me. Saturday night, James Hahn will be speaking on Masonry at Jamestown, that should be interesting. Since gospel meeting season is upon us, I'm confident that our free nights will be spent attending one.
We have a community fair on the 27th, it will be a good opportunity to introduce the church to those of the community and our gospel meeting will begin on April 11. I know March is only half way through and I'm already talking about things for a month from now, but such is our life at the moment.
Times a wastin', so I'd better get at all I have to do. Have a great day.

Set those clocks forward an hour Saturday night (unless you live in AZ) :)

Drew is home this week for spring break. I say home in a relative sense of the word. It's really just his spot to bed down. lol He came in late Thursday night after attending his last classes and working at Old Navy in Evansville. Friday, being his 19th birthday, he was treated to lunch at Applebee's and received one of his gifts, new golf balls and golf glove. He and Ken did get in a round that afternoon, though there was still some snow on the course and Friday night we had some friends over and played Hand & Foot. Saturday they played again at a course in Jamestown that reminded them of the courses they played in VA--there was hills! Sunday, between services, we celebrated his birthday with all of the young people from church and a couple friends from the Danville congregation.
Saturday, Drew went to Steak & Shake to get a shake and they found out he was on break so they asked if he wanted to work. He worked from about 9:30 that night to close and is working every day this week 10-4. Now he's off playing basketball and will be bowling later with friends. Now you see why I said this is his spot to bed down.
Nate, unfortunately, was not able to come home during break. We are really missing him and he needs to tell them he gets a weekend off so he can come home to see his family! (hint, hint)
The end of the month, there is some sort of community fair taking place and the church will have a booth set up for it. Ken (& I've helped) has been busy getting some tracts picked out, and we found something for kids to do if they are there.
Our spring meeting is fast approaching. Don Wright will be speaking for us April 11-17. Looking forward to being with him again. You would benefit greatly from his lessons if you came.
We're going to have decent temps for the next few days, but it's suppose to be rainy. That will really make it feel like spring around here.

Ken & I went to Methodist Hosp. yesterday to see how Crystal was doing. This is the woman that had the terrible accident a couple weeks ago. She is still in a coma, but is, for the most part, breathing on her own now, though they do have her on oxygen. The brain pressure has reduced, to nearly, if not, normal. I believe later this week they plan to do surgery to fuse her spine and repair her arm. The brain stem injury was more of a shearing instead of severing. The nurse that we saw said she is doing very well for the extent of her injuries, but obviously she has a long long road ahead of her still. Her family is holding up the best they can. Please continue to offer prayer if you think of it.
