We are planning to spend the next few months visiting the local congregations in that area so that when we move up there we already have an idea of where we want to worship.

What do you have? Are you sure the seal can't be replaced? I've heard that complaint a lot about front loaders...but I guess I just plan to make sure I wipe it down after I'm done using it each day. Last I heard, Consumer Reports did not recommend the top loaders w/o agitators...but that's what my mom has and she loves it. I considered those for a while (I just knew for SURE that I did NOT want an agitator)...but I just can't get past how the general consensus is that front loaders clean the best. So I'm looking to get the largest capacity front loader. :-) I'm hoping I don't hate it. This purchase is very stressful. LOL!

Trying to lose weight over here also. Just working out a bit on the new Wii fit we got for Christmas, and cutting out sweets and watching portions. No change yet though. Must add more painful strategies. Drink only water instead of other stuff like diet soda.

Well, it's a set I bought from Karen T. a few years ago. There are a bunch of sites with WW recipes and tips. Go here www.webmilhouse.com/pointcalc.php for a points calculator. You look for the calories, fat, and fiber per serving, then it gives you the point value. You really want to find stuff with more fiber for lower points but you have to have points for it to work. I can send you some more information on it (like how many points you try to get each day for the amount you weigh right now, etc. - the more you lose, the less points you can have each day. I am at 24 daily points, and then you get 5 flex points that you can use as extra each day or save it up all week and use it for a splurge on the weekend, for example). I'll try to send you some info either tonight or tomorrow.

So glad you're all alright. Our van was totaled in our wreck a few years ago, and it was actually sort of a blessing...we got more for it out of insurance than we owed. ;-) Kinda nice.

We're all working on getting healthy. Still lots of coughing out of everyone, and I made Ken stay home today so he won't give this to anyone else's family. (Already gave it to his brother's family.) Maybe by tomorrow he can control his coughing a little more. I woke up this morning with pink eye now. ::sigh:: Thank God for breastmilk!

Hyland's has a GREAT (homeopathic) cough syrup. We think it works better than anything else. (Other than the Vicodin Tuss syrup I used several years ago...that stuff was my best friend. ;-) Gooooood stuff! LOL) And we are now swearing by elderberry to kick a virus!!! Plus lots of vitamin C. We were dosing the kids on elderberry 4 times a day (Sambucol in drugstores) and 100-250 mg of vitamin C every waking hour the day they were all OUT OF IT. And even though they'd all begun it on different days, the next day they all turned around BIG TIME.

So, was your van totaled?

Did y'all get any snow? We played in it for a while but got SO cold! I'm ready to go back out, now. :D

Well, Cadence asked me the other day who the invitation was addressed to. ;-) So I know she's interested in going, but her name wasn't on the invite. I figured your girls would go, but, as we explained to Cadence, they are much closer to Kristyn. So I didn't know if it would be appropriate to take her.

Now we are pleo friends!! : ) I am at my grandson's right now. We get to have some alone time tomorrow while his mommie & daddy go do some volunteer work. Snuggle, snuggle!! Hard to believe he will be 4 weeks on Wednesday. The joys God blesses me with!

BTW, my girls and I are avid fans of "Ann with an E", too! When we lived in Texas, we used to have AoGG slumber parties. Floor full of girls giggling, weeping, and swooning, (especially when Gilbert FINALLY kissed Anne!!). Have you been to Prince Edward Island? I would love to take a trip there!
