I'm ready for spring!

We have had much colder weather this winter than last, as has much of the country. After a ski trip-well snowboarding for me-last week I'm ready for warmer weather and gardening now. We had fun and a nice reunion with old friends, I did several great falls and have the bruises to show for it but also did some good runs and enjoyed it when it worked. Now it's time to get busy with quilting again. Have several projects to get cracking on...baby quilts, graduation, wedding as well as the usual ones I seem to just not get finished with.

I still like the relatively private nature of Pleonast. I have a Facebook page, too.... but I have a lot of "friends" outside my Christian relationships there, and the group is too big!

I check both, but am not on often. Dad's doing great. Tom's doing fine. Randy was only off a week. He's coming along, but not as quickly as he would like.

going through old newspapers isn't real fun. I let them pile up and need to get them out of my room. Not continuing it! Another point in favor of my doing something better for the earth....

No, I'm not in Madagascar, but that would be pretty cool, no?

Finally went out to see a movie tonight. Saw Avitar and really enjoyed the whole things...yes, it was predictable but the effects were great.

New Year starting the same as last one--with a bad cold....we party so wild. I'm just dosed with cold meds and am ready for bed by 8:30!

woooo. mom figured out how to leave a private comment ;)

haha. yeah there is a high turnover rate in any social-work-type job out there. most definitely.

i'm definitely working on vegging and relaxing and not feeling guilty about it. getting back to journaling and working out will help with that a lot, me thinks.

Watchers or Lightning, Tic-Toc is weird, but I still liked it. By the light of the moon. Odd Todd series I enjoyed most of them. Do you see Sherry Webb or Mark Dix? I think Connie Castleman is in the Springs. Hugs!!!
