    ^ Benjamin Bunny

The more I hear it, the more I like Alice. I've been headed toward "older" names recently. However, I named one of the barn cats Alice... so that's out. Does Greek mythology count as a fictional book character? Then, I've always liked Daphne. I like the name Daphne Laurel... (So, Laurel Laurel. :p)

Yuck! It is your off Friday - I hope that means you don't have to work too many hours. We might make it again tonight, we'll have to see how the day goes. The kids just now dragged themselves out of bed after 2 "Wednesday nights" in a row. I'll pass your Hi on to the kids. :)

You know what? You learn something new everyday. I searched the names of constellations and their stars to decide on a name that I might be inclined to pick. Along the way I saw a few names that stood out to me:

    Draco
    Bellatrix
    Sirius
    Regulus

Hmm...Are you a Harry Potter fan? I'm wondering if J.K. Rowling searched the constellations and stars for these...where else would you get a name like Bellatrix??
    by ambie_06 at 03/01/10 10:31PM
  • theaunt
That makes me think of the Harry Potter books. Many of them are names of stars or constellations. Hmmmm. Sirius is my favorite star, but not a name. How about Lyra from the Summer constellations.

Oops...Someone was ahead of me while I was pondering on the a name. :)

You know what, Amber & Sara ... I never realized that. I was just impressed with the scope of her imagination. So sad, now I know she opted for an easy way out. *sigh*
