I kinda miss the good old Pleo' days before there was Facebook... because you just can't find a good place for a blog like this on FB. I wonder if we can bring it back... haha

My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride
If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had, if today was your last day?
What if, what if, if today was your last day?
Against the grain should be a way of life
What's worth the price is always worth the fight
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try
So live like you're never living twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life
If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had?
And would you call those friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories?
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one you're dreaming of?
If today was your last day
Would you make your mark by mending a broken heart?
You know it's never too late to shoot for the stars
Regardless of who you are
So do whatever it takes
'Cause you can't rewind a moment in this life
Let nothing stand in your way
'Cause the hands of time are never on your side
If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had, if today was your last day?
What if, what if, if today was your last day?
*****
What if you only had one more day to live?
Or only a few months?
What would you do?
I've been thinking a lot recently about the words from this song (which is by Nickelback, by the way) and it got me wondering...
How differently would I act if I lived each day with the realization that my days are numbered?
A lot differently, I realized.
I think God would like that attitude--it would mean that I'm living with the constant realization that I do not possess the right to live each day, but God gives it to me. So I need to live each one to the fullest...
As if it were my last.

Don't have much to say.
But I felt like posting.
Because I finished my precal homework early.
And I'm bored.
I've been working on a "combine" art project for school...it looks awesome. Maybe I'll post pics when I finish it.
Well...back to doing...something.
Oh look, something shiny!

We're not moving.
However, there is another open door, which includes MAKING more doors in this house and getting more space, which I am VERY happy about :) because when I think about it, I love living here. I've lived here my entire life, and I have tons of memories here!
And so what if we're not "allowed" to have chickens in town.
We are anyway.
=]
So while unpacking, I rediscovered tons of old trinkets and such and I have arranged them on my shelves, so it looks nice and tidy now...and I rearranged my room! :) and put all my drawings back on the wall. Yay!
Things just feel better now.
Except for this swine-flu like cold thing going around. Not so good.
But I'm going to forget about that for the moment and go make wontons with mom now.

:)
You may have already seen
her post but if you haven't, you should read it.
The big switch-eroo will likely happen within the next two weeks.
I'm so excited!
But...
I've never seen the house.
All I know is I get a big room! (AND A CLOSET!)
