Our fall gospel meeting starts tomorrow morning here in Warrenton. Our speaker will be Norman Sewell from Harrison, AR.

Nick and I are excited to be hosting brother Sewell in our home. This is our first time to host the visiting preacher. We're so thankful that we have the space and ability to do so.

Well I usually don't post this often, but I had to share this GOOD NEWS! Tonight
Morgan Cupp decided to put on Christ in baptism! Yes, that's right, we have another new sister:
Morgan is a beautiiful 13 years old girl, inside and out. She has a loving heart that wants to serve God and do what is right. Nick and I have had the wonderful privilege of getting to know Morgan over the past few months. She has encouraged us with her service and dedication to God, in spite of the FAR from perfect background she comes from. You see, Morgan has been adopted and is being raised by her aunt & uncle. It is truly a miracle to me to see girls like Morgan and Allie make the mature decision to dedicate their lives to Christ, in the face of so many obstacles. I have never had to face the challenges these girls face in their lives on a daily basis. Their courage and strength is amazing. I wish you all could know them personally and understand their stories because I know they would be such an encouragement to each of you.
Praise be to God for His mercy and loving kindness and gift of eternal life!

Morgan, you already knew what it meant to be adopted by your earthly family, NOW you've been adopted into God's family. We love you and are SO incredibly proud of you!

We are having a great time with
Mama and Gene in town!
Yesterday we went to the arch and St. Louis Zoo. This morning we had a guided tour of the Daniel Boone House, which was quite interesting.
Then we had to take them to White Castle, since they don't have one in TX. Funny how something can seem so good when it's something you can't have on a regular basis.
Next, Mama decided that she wanted to try something new on her hair. So I got to dye her hair, something I'd never done. (She did know this, but still wanted me to do it!)

I had him up on a pedestal. I remember my first meal with him--I fixed oyster stew, and it was
gritty!! But he made me feel "at home", instead of vice-versa. Have a Great week!
