The newspaper article
As requested by my coffee buddy, here's the clipping from the January 3rd edition of the Coweta County Times-Herald. I retouched my face a little within Picasa to try and obliterate the crease, but it didn't work very well since the picture, as newsprint, is just a gazillion tiny dots. I contacted the reporter at the paper, though, and she's going to email me the picture, which I'll post later.

On Saturday Amanda came over and we worked on some sewing projects for her-- what a wonderful way to spend a day with a fabulous sister. We did some singing, and some spiritual discussions, and my heart is so full of love for her. I know you all (who know her) feel the same.
Amanda also accompanied the boys and me to Wallyworld for the boys' eye exams. Boy, if that wasn't fun! They're all getting new glasses; should be in sometime this week.
Yesterday was a wonderful day; Mitch's lesson on Pledging Allegiance to God was awesome, and I'm so looking forward to the proverbial study on anger tonight.
I also got a new bible yesterday-- an ESV study bible, and I'm very excited.
Now, I need to go Sonic-Scrub the boys' bathtub so Jason can recaulk tonight. Then I have a trip to the store on my list, and various other little projects to do. I hope you all have a lovely day-- stand up for Jesus today!

Aww, how sweet! The crease isn't really noticeable. -
Awwwwww! Don't you look lovely!!! -
How great to be in the paper for the first baby of the county! I also have an ESV that I've been pleased with overall. Hope 2009 keeps going great for all of you! -
that's so cool! -
HA! Sassy, that's me! ;-) -
Kevin Has the companion book too. We would let you borrow our movie if we were there. Kevin liked the movie, but, obviously, there was a lot that had to be left out because of time restrictions. Hope you enjoy it, though! -
I wasn't talking about your makeup, sweetie... Love YOU. -
I loved talking to you too! We don't do that nearly enough! And there's no way you could ever look like a pig. You're WAY to pretty for that. -
Oh, I found my coupons (they were in the Ulta magazine.) I'll call you if I end up going and see what you're up to! -
Cool, and you look so cute in your uniform! Love you! -
What a sec ... you are a NURSE! You are supposed to be ok with those things... Ick, Yuck, Blah! Whoever said that it's ok when it comes from your kids was crazy! -
Let me know how you like your ESV. I'm always skeptical of "newer" translations, but I've heard this one may be OK. -
Have fun gathering up some patterns! I'm glad you will be able to enjoy the sale, too! -
I love you! -
cute -
I love you, Laura.
