mom and dad got J and me a boxing bag from craigs list. so on Friday dad, J, and I. were going to hang it up, but we found that we need a bolt that we didn't have. but before going back upstairs I wanted to see how hard it was to kick, so I kicked it once softly, then i kicked it again a little harder. so J wanted to kick it so dad held the bag and J kicked the bag as hard as he could, so J kicked the bag, waited a second than screamed, and later J complained all night about his foot hurting. so we put the bag up today (Saturday). I think that J learned his lesson about kicking a leather bag filled with something.

home alone, well not really

Mom and the grandparents went to NY for granddad’s shoulder surgery. So J and I have the house pretty much too ourselves, except when dad is home from work in the evenings. It has been pretty fun, getting all of our school work done before mom comes home. And today I finished my rough draft of my 10pg paper!!!!!!!!!!!! except i fit my 2,500 words in 7pgs :)
Other than that nothing like always is happening.

Wake up call

Early this morning (about 5:00 AM) the fire alarm went off in the dorm.
Thinking it was my room mate’s alarm I started to get out of bed. My room mate jumps out of bed saying THAT’S THE FIRE ALARM!!! So we go down 5 flights of stairs and wait for an hour before being able to get back in side :( so last night I got about 5½ hrs of sleep, this is not good normally I run on about 8-9hrs.
Otherwise FC has been very good, got to listen to about 9hrs of lectures.

We have started our trip down south.
Right now we are in SC, visiting some family.
At home we got rid of all of our snow, so we come to the normally warm south, and bring our snow with us.
Monday lord willing we will arrive in FL

Dad and I finally got our two radios up and running.
So far I have called CQ (calling any station) a few times, but nothing so far.
Can’t wait for our trip down to see Alyssa, and other people.
