i like tulips

the baby in my new picture is my friend bob and brittani's third son; his name is Xavier J and at the time of the picture he was 1.5days old; he was born a month early, but everything was ok and he's now enjoying himself at home :)

now, i know 6 people who are pregnant due somewhere between june-september; turns out 2 of my cousins are pregnant!

the snow's kept me in quite a bit these last few days and all my classes have been canceled; unless something happens tomorrow i'll have one class for the week, but that's alright w/me; i've managed to be quite productive on my time off :)

i went to a rodeo this past friday night; i hadn't been to one in ages! my first one was the high school state championship in highschool after that i went to a few while i was at FC, but since this i don't think i've been to any. tim do you remember? what a crazy time!

i'll be outta town for the next 3 weekends :)

have good days and nights, laugh, be content, pray, make something, take a silly picture, and try not to hit your arm on a latch to a fence it could end in a nicely colored bruise, not that i know or anything ;) also, do your best not to eat after a penguin!

I like tulips too! Did you know that if you have them in a vase and they start opening up/wilting you can just add ice cubes to their water and they go back pretty!

Aw, such a tiny little baby! I'm glad he is doing well!

It's been a very long time since I've been to a rodeo. My little brother will be starting to "rodeo" again in April, though, so I'm sure I'll go to some of those. It's so cute...there are kids from age 1 to 18 doing stuff together.

That is so cool! I am glad you have a teacher who will say stuff like that. This baby is about the size of your pinky. Weird, huh?

one month down, 11 more to go!

not that i'm countin for this year to be over, just thought that'd make a good title...

school started back jan 14th; so far it's goin fine. i do have a research class; i hate research, but i like my teacher so i don't dread the paper too bad; it's big though, 15 sources and an actual proposal that i could potentially do. i haven't decided my topic yet, but i have 2mos, so i'll figure it out soon i'm sure and when i do it will consume a large amount of my time i have no doubt, along w/my other classes of course. oh well, i think this will be hardest semester; we'll see i guess.

we have a pretty snow; yesterday was too powdery to build anything and today i didn't have a playmate...i did get to eat some snow cream though and make a snow angel :)

my hair is longer than it's ever been; it grows so slowly.

my toes are often cold as ice no matter how warm the rest of me is

4 of my friends are pregnant; i guess that's what happens a few years after i have a big weddin spurt! baby showers are next.

i like burritos a lot

have good days and nights, laugh, drink some hot chocolate, eat some pineapple, write and mail a letter, and try not to slip on any ice!

How much snow did you get there? We got around 6 inches plus an inch or so of ice. I wanted to make some snow cream, but alas, we had no eggs :(

    Good luck with your paper!

No snow here! Just got some rain today but it has been warm and sunny! Keep those toes warm!

And how cool is it that Lauren is having a baby???? :) Take care!

christmas

let's see...my semester ended well :) school starts again jan 14th, hopefully spring will be just as good!

my christmas celebration was missin a few family members due to being outta the country or across it; that was sad, but otherwise all was well :) i got to see some family on my daddy's side of the family and most of mom's side; my boyfriend spent christmas with mom and me, which was nice and the first time a nonfamily member has ever been here for mom's homemade cinnamon rolls on christmas mornin :) everyone else, you're missin out!

i decided to read a few books over my break; so far i've read one and i have another to start and finish before wednesday afternoon; i can do it!

i really like hot chocolate and fresh pineapple, but not together

have good days and nights, go visit someone, bake some cookies, read a book, appreciate the folks you know and see often, do something silly and laugh about it, pray, and try not to bang your knee on a small wooden shelf, it may not end well ;)
  • desi
I'm glad you've gotten to enjoy time with family, and your boyfriend, of course :)

What books are you reading? I'm reading through the Little House on the Prairie books...fun stuff!

You are right - fresh pineapple and chocolate are two wonderful things, but should be separated by a fair amount of time and space, ha

i love thanksgiving!

i made dressin yesterday and it turned our right! still not as good as mamaw's, but it's pretty stinkin close! i called her to tell her, she was glad and told me it just takes practice :)

we'll be leavin here shortly to go see her; (we as in mom, willy, kristen, and me)

i love my family

if all goes as planned we'll go to a movie tonight, but who knows; plans are sometimes over-rated!

school's almost out for xmas and i'm SO glad! i'm tired of this semester for sure

have good days and nights, exercise to balance the extra food, stay up late and talk, laugh, play a game, shoot a tin can, eat a brownie, and show people that you care!
  • nycami
Wow! We didn't get to see each other this Thanksgiving! I would love to try your dressing. Glad you had a nice holiday.

welcome to my life

i have great friends and i am thankful for them :)

i have really strange dreams; generally they're unrealistic, but can be intense and stressful.

this weekend is packed w/a 10k in bowling green, visitin some friends, a halloween party in murfreesboro, and a weddin shower for my dear megs :)

the next one is also busy w/a girls night, and another trip to bowling green to see my sweet roommate and a few others :)

the one after that is megs' wedding, lots goin on, as usual :)

this past one also took me to bowling green for a reception, i don't think i went to bowling green but once all last spring and now here i'm goin 3x in a row and i've been quite a bit this summer and before now; funny how things work

my fingers are freezin

i should be studyin for a test

i want the sun to come out

have good days and nights, eat some oatmeal, bake a cake, mail a package, make homemade macaroni and cheese, relax, but don't be lazy, and try not to ram your knee into a bed post :)
