1 O LORD, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth,
Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
2 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies,
That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

I just don't have the heart to do this right now.

He looked over at her and offered his hand. "Come on, I got us a table in the moon-room."
She took his hand smiling - the moon-room was their favorite spot in the restaurant - a faintly lit corner where the stars and moon shined through the perfectly clear windows and ceiling. The room was empty save them and a table in the corner. "How did you manage this?" she thought to herself.
"Turns out the manager is an old friend from high-school." he offered, smiling at her. "And when he heard I was looking for a place, well, here it is." he explained. He gently led her to the table and pulled out her chair for her, then gently slipped it back for her to sit on. "You look wonderful... as always." his eyes danced in the starlight.
He was overdoing it, as always. She smiled - it had been a long time since this had ceased to bother her - she understood it was his way of showing affection, showing his love. "Thank you." she batted her eyelashes at him, knowing he would catch that she appreciated what he was doing. The two of them were both such simple and complex creatures after all, and sticking together through the thick and the thin was no small thing.
"Honey, this year has been... amazing." He smiled as he said it. It was that special smile, the one that was only meant for her - the passion, the tenderness, the desire, the compassion, the strength of affection seemed to pour from his eyes and engulf her in a way that was nearly intoxicating. He never smiled for anyone else like that.
"Indeed." she replied "amazing." She grinned, slightly lopsided, "Though it sure wasn't easy at times." She teased him as only she could.
"True. But we stuck through it. We didn't let misunderstandings, or health, or family issues make us forget that we loved each other. We leaned more on each other and both grew stronger for it." His smile was warm and appreciative now. "My only regret is that we didn't start down this road together earlier."
