A year ago...but seems like forever...

A year ago today, my wonderful, sweet mother went to her heavenly home. I miss her sooo much..I feel numb sometimes. If you still have your mom, dad or both, talk to them, thank them and tell them you love them every opportunity you get…because they will soon be gone.

I'm so sorry, Sandy. It's hard to believe when your parents pass on to the next life. I still without thinking pick up the phone to call my mom! What a good reunion we all have to look forward to!

My Mom is gone too and I miss her. I just had a good conversation with Dad. I've been very blessed to have wonderful parents living into their 90's.

Thanks ya'll...It is hard to believe my parents are gone, I had always talked to them daily for years. I look forward to the day when I will see my mom and dad again!

Hubby left this morning for Fort Collins, CO
This evening I got several text from hubby…
1…about to take off from Denver….
2…working on engine…
3…taking off now…
4…back at gate to get more fuel for alternate landing, due to deteriorating weather in Austin
5…leaving again!

Hope he makes it home tonight!

Salad of field greens with balsamic dressing, pan seared mahi mahi with balsamic glaze, roasted pepper mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus AND buttternut squash bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream! YUMMMYYY!!!!!
