I am super excited that it is springtime! Mom is excited about getting to plant flowers and getting to see little green plants starting to grow. It was very warm and sunny the beginning of the week but on Wednsday there was a lot of storms and tornado warnings. Since then it has been rainy, overcast, and windy.


Well everything went fine with my tonsils. I don't think I will want to eat any jell-o or pudding for a long time. I was able to eat almost anything after the third day.


I am doing softball again this year and am very excited to start! We are already starting to practice twice a week. We should start playing games around the end of this month. GO ANGELS!! At Christmas mom and dad got me a new bat bag and it is MUCH nicer than the old bat bag of my older brother's, Matt. On Tuesday of this week mom took me to Hibbits (a sporting goods store) to get some new softball pants.


Last night I went to go see Alice In Wonderland. It was one of my friend's (off my softball team) birthday. First, we went to eat pizza, then we went to the movie. It was very different, but I really liked it. I want to see it again when we could buy/rent it.

On Thursday mom and I will be at my aunt Terri's house. On Friday we will go to Bowling Green to see Lindsey for a couple of days. I will miss school on Thursday and Friday and then the next week is Spring Break. Dad will be at Granny and Granddaddy's house in Alvin while we go to Tennessee and Kentucky. I am excited to see my big sister and for Spring Break.

It has been snowing since 1:00 in the morning here. The snow is really wet and great to play with. We got a call about 6:00 to say that school was cancelled for today! It snowed all day and I played in the snow a little this afternoon. I also made SNOW CREAM! Yummy! Dad has to spend the night at work because the roads are so bad and a hard freeze is supposed to happen tonight. School is cancelled for tomorrow too. We're keeping warm inside (with the power on-yeah!) watching movies and drinking hot chocolate.

Today mom and I went to the ENT doctor to see if I need my tonsils out. I keep getting strep, so he said that I should get them out. So...next Tuesday morning I have to be at the hospital at 6:30 am to get my tonsils out. Bring on the Chic-Fil-A ice cream (it's the best) and popsicles!!!

On Friday, I had my birthday party sleepover! Three friends of mine came over after school. First, we made pizzas. Then we had cupcakes with sugar-fingernail-polish-bottle decorations, ice cream and presents! After that, we put a lot of blankets on the den floor and watched TV and movies. The best part was the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! We dipped strawberries, bananas, animal crackers, graham crackers and marshmallows. It was amazing! We watched some more TV, then we got bored and played Monopoly at 2 o'clock in the morning. I finally went to sleep around 4 and after a donut breakfast (thanks DAD!), my friends went home around 10 or 11 o'clock. It was lots of fun!

Christmas was so much fun!!

Joanna, Matt, Jordan, Torhi, and I had our christmas on the Saturday before Christmas. I had so much FUN!!! Torhi and I made a gingerbread house from a kit. It was cute but we used too much frosting and turned into a MESS when it started crumbling!!!!

Joanna and Matt went to my grandparents in Bradley first, then dad went to pick them up. They got here on Saturday. We ate lunch then we opened presents.We opened stockings first then we took turns finding our gifts. Mom puts numbers on the gifts instead of our names. I got a Wii Fit, decorations for my wall, house-shoes, and I also got a bat bag for softball and a really cute lunchbox. Joanna and Matt got me 2 neat shirts and a scarf from one of my favorite stores, Justice. Torhi and Jordan got me a photo-albulm and a pocket-sized sudoku notebook. Lindsey got me a polka-dot fleece jacket, a white fleece hat, and a bottle of watermelon from Justice. After we opened gifts we waited a while then we roasted hot dogs on a little campfire in the backyard. I had so much fun!!! Torhi and Jordan left on Sunday after evening church. Matt and Joanna stayed untill Tuesday afternoon.

On Sunday after church, we all went to Marketplace Grill to celebrate Joanna's graduation from college. yummy.

Then my Nanny and Papaw came on Wednesday. On Thursday we all went to Nashville, Tennessee, to be with Lindsey and my Aunt Terri's family . I got to see my baby cousin Bella. She is very cute!!! Lindsey had to work and was on call all weekend, but she came to their house on Friday night and then we went to Bowling Green on Saturday to see her. We went to eat at Cheddars with Lindsey. Their food is AMAZING!!!!!! We came home on Sunday afternoon.

Today Mom and I started planning my birthday party. I get one every third year, which is this year (other than just "us"), so I get to invite three friends over for a SLEEPOVER!!! We're going to make pizza, have cupcakes, do manicures, watch my new "Enchanted" movie and we might have fun with a chocolate fountain. My birthday is January 9!!!!!

Thanksgiving was so much fun. I had a great Thanksgiving at Granny and Granddad's house. It was fun seeing everybody!

It will be a busy week this week. Tomorrow night my school is having our Literacy Night. Our theme is Christmas around the World. Our grade is doing North America. We will perform a Readers' Theater.

I sell cookies to make money for fun. People order them for different reasons but today four people e-mailed mom and asked if I could make some for the holidays. We have a program that we do for free-time math called Accelerated Math. You have to earn a certain amount of objectives. You take test and practices that your teacher prints out for you. If you get enough objectives for the 9 weeks you get to do something special. This time it will be everybody that passed their goal gets to go to our city event center at lunch time and have a pizza party. We will stay there for 2 hours. The other children will be at the school "study hall." I was one of the many kids that passed their goals, so on Wendesday we will take the bus over a few miles to the center.

Our school had a food drive and whoevers grade brought the most cans got an afternoon in a bounce house. The fun thing is that it is on the same day as the Acc. math celebration!

That is also the same day as my morning teacher's Birthday.

On Thursday we are having a christmas party rotation. There are three teachers so we will have three stations. There will be card making, a video with snack, and bingo.

We also will make ornaments. We already made one. The ones we made are made of applesauce and cinnnamon. They smell really good.

On Friday a few kids are going to have a little Christmas party during lunch. We will watch the Polar Express that afternoon. Then we are out for Christmas Break!!!!

Jordan and Torhi will also be coming on Friday!! Matthew and Joanna will come to Arkansas on Friday with Kenneth and his girlfriend Danielle. They will go to Bradley and then mom or dad will go to pick them up in Bradley. It stinks that Lindsey could not come though. She will come in January. It is going to be so much fun!!!!!!
