On the way home from NY this weekend, Sean was groggily waking up from his nap and was quite sad. I was trying my best to comfort him, and with his sad little voice he said, “haaand?” and reached out to me. I held his tiny hand and he was okay. : )

Nineteen.

Today begins the 365 days I have left to be a teenager. I plan to savor every one of them.

God has blessed my life an incredible amount over the past nineteen years.

My dad is laying on my bedroom floor reading his book... I'm going to get off the computer and read my book too. : ) I love my dad.

Oh and also, I plan to update here a lot more... because I want to record more of my life. It's going by too quickly, and it's too easy to forget things. So be prepared for some journal-like entries which you can choose to read or not read. ;)

    Congrats on the dean's list. I think being a midwife would be wonderful. We know someone here who is a midwife. Alabama has made it really difficult for nurse midwives. I think that is unfortunate.
