missing part of the bible?

so i think there must be somewhere in the bible that went missing where God said

"let there be 3-day weekends!"

and then he looked upon his creation and saw that it was very good.

lol. i WISH. well atleast he was merciful enough to give the next two weekends (counting this one) as THREE DAY WEEKENDS. I might cry with gratitude if I hadn't already cried enough this week (sidenote: borderline sadistic english teachers with god complexes suck the life out of you and your GPA. approach with caution.)

Well I'm gonna go catch up on sleep. If I get 7 hours tonight then I'll only be 1,993 hours behind a normal person! oh the excitement! ;)

sorry if my humor is a little dry and strange. Its been a long week.

Ok so I practically got mugged when I visited a Church of Christ out of town and lots of people yelled at me to update.
So I am. Just so you all know I'm not dead... yet.
Heres my life at the moment, in a nutshell :)

1) School is a beast. and I'm trying to fight back. I transfered out of my AP Chemistry class (which I was failing) and into a regular class which is WAY better! I'm actually learning things now. Now if I can just find a way to ace my algebra2 class I'd be good...

2) Art is pretty cool I guess. We went to Houston recently for the Livestock show and the awards ceremony.

Trace Adkins was AMAZING! (but he needs to clean up his language a little bit) It was great to see him in concert and the rodeo was a lot of fun to see.

3) I'm having lots of fun in mariachi

I'm learning a lot with the violin and getting a love for spanish music I don't think I had before.

4) I need to go so I can help my mommy clean :) I'll update more later I guess.

anyway-
After lots of thinking, i've narrowed down the source of my stress to two reasons.

REASON 1: Stupid English Teachers
~ Its not that I have anything personal against them, really I usually love them, but my up-and-coming English-3 Teachers (who I don't know yet) must have a death wish.
---i've been at camp and art school and more art school and mariachi workshops this summer. I haven't started on any of the annotating.
Can you say "procrastinated"? Good, because it might be on my tombstone soon.
annotating due August 25.

REASON 2: My Ignorance in the Art World
I got a commision from a rancher's wife and daughters to do a portrait of their husband/father. but I don't know what to charge. and they refuse to set a price.... :(
THATs due September 1st.

Deadlines. Lots and lots of deadlines.
YIKES.

PS Kleinwood Singing was AMAZING. I managed not to cry this time (incredibly) and I was really happy to get so many of the local christian teenagers (kids from down here) to go!
I think Kasie (girl frm my church) is almost definitely coming to Winter Camp! yay! special thanks to you

ok so I have just made my (i believe) fourth post of quick succesion on here! Ska-doosh! thats exciting!

k so Lectures were hands down amazing. The sermon about David and Bathsheba was one of my favorites. Aaron got to come to friday night's sermons and I was so happy I got to share that experience with him.

and this is where I wanted to tell you all about an amazing person in my life. My boyfriend.

His name is Aaron Martinez.
and he lights up my life.I met him at church about four years ago and sort of kept in touch. Last year we started talking, a LOT. lol they were some of the best conversations i've ever had. Funny conversations, deep conversations-
talks of Hopes and Dreams
or Fearsor of
God.
He is one of the most spiritually-minded people I know. He lifts me up and helps me be a better me. I have never prayed with anyone over the phone more than I have with him.
He attends college at SFA in Nacogdoches TX and it kills me that he lives so far away but he is home for the summer and for Christmas. He just makes me happy. and I can't explain it. Just the thought of getting to see him and getting to spend time with him makes me overjoyed. He is a goofball. And I think I am one of the few people that "gets" some of his jokes. lol. Despite all the amazing things about him, he's kind of shy when you first meet him. I hope all of you will take the time to get to know him like I have. It's been very important to both he and I that he gets to know all of you because we both realize how important you all are to me and my spiritual growth. I've told him so many good things about all of you and the crazy things we do, he is really looking forward to meeting you.

Kleinwood singing is friday and I can't wait! Our car is packed with Christians from this area that are coming with us! EXCITEMENT!!!!! I think I'm going to bring my very own bag of cough drops and a water bottle. I remember last year with Sara Smetzer, Paul Fanscher and Blake Lambert, lol. Not quick to do that again. We were all dying of thirst! And passing around a bottle that I had managed to somehow dig up from my car. Who knows how old it was...(?) Can't wait to see you all there.
